I reckon f2p will get updates from time to time, otherwise it would turn into this medieval "this was what p2p was like 10 years ago". Mind you, apparantly, the prayers should have been here along time ago but were badly delayed. And the stronghold of security had to be able for all because both p2p and f2p have stupid people who get hacked because of their own stupidity and or blissful ignorance. I hoped you enjoyed my post. Candymann16 Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 the new prayers had to be made f2p because there is alot of PKing in f2p and they already had the melle prayers, and melle pkers in f2p already have a huge advantage, they can wear rune and use rune weapons, rangers only have maple bows, addy arrows, and green hides max, and mages can only do fire blast as thier best spell so if they hadnt made them f2p they would of had alot of complaints from f2p pkers so they had to make them f2p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Let's start tough with the Security Stronghold. Jagex did this just to make all accounts secure trough a "mini-game". Because most people are experienced players, it would be dumb to make it members only. Now for the prayers: We already have prayers for melee. Making the prayers for p2p only, and their would be a lot protest. As known, f2p already had addy arrows and Maple bow because rangers were weak in f2p. By making this p2p-only, rangers and mages would just stay the same in f2p. It's just a smart move to make everyone happy. The next thing for f2p will be the Halloween update, I guess. Let's see: Stronghold = Great place to train (Ankous, safer than Greaters and better xp i think, even drop clues for P2P) New prayers = Pures have a better edge, meaning range + mage will be used alot more. Now, almost October yes? Halloween, now hopefully some sort of mask that someone will sell - Joking. Well Halloween will probably be the next F2P update. But i agree, maybe they should get a new quest, but as i was told "Get Members" i got members and i don't regret it. But i think F2P might need a new quest, if they do get a new quest they won't be having an update for a long time. The next thing for f2p will be the Halloween update, I guess. Nuff said? I agree on almost everything you said. Being f2p, I believe we should get an update maybe every 2, 3months. BUT f2p is NOT A DEMO! A demo is not a complete game, whereas f2p is. Members is an expansion pack. And to the people that whine saying "waah, we pay for those freeloaders!", NO YOU DON'T! F2p pay for their servers by watching the filth that rolls to the top of their screens. On the flip side, it's been proven that women are probably better mothersYes I have balls, but they melted. They gave you 2 ENORMOUS updates f2p wise for the first time since bank pins...you got new emotes, boots, a new area and new prayers...i think you guys should be very grateful that you actually got those new prayers. F2P is for people who can't or don't want to pay 60 bucks a year for an online game, and they have just as much right to new updates as P2P does. I say keep the F2P updates coming! It's good with the new prayers that it will help balance the combat system, but if anything else happens, I'm guess probably bug fixes and graphical/sound updates, no more than that. They're not going to give you a dragon long since you have to do a members quest, in a members area. : And it's not halloween, how should we know?
