I dont know who he is but RIP mate

Peter Brock is widely regarded as one of Australia's greatest ever motorsport champion.

Peter won 9 Bathurst 1000's, (a 2 man event in which they take shifts driving, for 1000 km's, or 625 Miles it is a true endurance race)

Bathurst was Peters most loved race track and he is the only one that's "concoured the mountain" 9 times.

Peter also won the Targa Rally 3 times, the event in which he was competing when he died (i believe, not 100% on this)

Peter is well known as a very friend and family oriented man, instantaniously becoming friends with virtually everyone he meets.

Peter leaves behind his beloved wife and 3 kids.

Although not all Australian's met the great man, im sure that most of us are saddend by the loss of his life.

Ill be having a few quiet beers tonight for Brockie,

Not only a legend on the racecourse, but a legend through life.
