This is greater than the 1001 total posts (original post plus 1000 replies) needed to break the line that you don't think will be reached. So there is a definite likelihood of that 1000 replies being reached by the end of the year, contrary to what you are thinking, unless there's a massive dry spell for more than 13 days in total.
