Don't get me wrong, i loved LT when he was at TCU, but Larry Johnson is simply the BEST running back in the National Football League. This is what I'm seeing: Larry Johnson - 7th in the league in rushing, 0 td's, long = 24 LaDainian Tomlinson - 5th in the league in rushing, 3 touchdowns, long = 58. LT has played against the Oakland Raiders and the Tennessee Titans. Not the best teams in the NFL. Horrible defensive teams. LJ has played against the Cinci Bengals and the Denver Broncos. Admittedly so, the Bengals are more of a pass oreintated defense he should have ran all over them. The broncos d-line is no laughing matter however. That's why he doesn't have the inflated stats like LT does. Watch LT put up some crappy numbers next week against the Ravens. So, if we're playing by your rules of only caring about who has the better stats right now, looks like I win. Better stats? It's only because he's played against CRAP DEFENSES. September 24, 200619 yr Ahhh, I love you Arctic! 1. Past stats don't matter 2. 3. Atlanta IS the best team and will continue to be unless there's an injury or they did what they did last year. I am currently living in Atlanta (and so is Artic I believe..or near Atlanta) so that makes me somewhat biased but still. I don't see how they can be stopped when they have a quarterback who makes the defense run out of the norm (they have to contain him more than other QBs), unstoppable DEs (Kerney and Abraham), great secondary (Crocker, Milloy, Hall, Webester who has to interceptions, etc.), above average Dline and Dbs, and above average receivers and Oline. Overall, they don't have a large weakness. They also have a great backup QB. I don't see any other team out there who is 2-0 and has no weakness. p.s. should I go to the panter v falcon game on Dec. 24th or cowboy v falcons on the Dec 16th? His team around him isnt that good anymore....but he makes everyone else better. About the best teams....i have to say the falcons for the nfc(obviously) and the afc is a mixed bag.I would like to say the Chargers for only allowing 7 points this season and scoring 70...but they've played 2 crappy teams(i wish the Titans weren't a crappy team...but they are :cry: ) I still have to call the Colts the best AFC team...because all the other good teams arent as dominant anymore. And you cant see how good the Colts move down the field on paper.....you actually have to watch it.
