Althalus
So, I don't know how much you guys like The Killers but I absolutely LOVE everything they do. Feel free to bash them if you like but I'm excited to see how they changed their sound. I've heard their new single over and over again "When You were Young" but I can't wait until I hear the whole CD, Oct. 3rd can't come any faster. For those of you who have been following them, what do you think of their new album will be like?
Uldric
Already heard most of it on JJJ. Pretty good. I like them, they play interestingly. =P~

Oy_the_Great
they worth downloading? :x No respect for music. --- I've got their album 'hot fuss' and yeah, it's one good album. I wonder when Sam's Town will come out here. That song 'when you were young' sounds really OK, I hope the other songs are just as good. Bill Hicks[/url]":dhj2kan9]Since the one thing we can say about fundamental matter is, that it is vibrating. And since all vibrations are theoretically sound, then it is not unreasonable to suggest that the universe is music and should be perceived as such. Bubsa
Interesting because I don't think they've changed their sound at all. I mean, they can try to pass it off as rock all they want, but you're still going to find their music on a cheesy dancefloor on a Friday night. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Iantiger
They're good but not great. I've got Hot Fuss, and it's fine, but it just passes off as another average indie album for me. I'll have to listen to their new stuff to see if this change you speak of exists. ~Ian Retired Tip It Moderator | Zybez Radio DJ - Listen Here
insane
I love all their stuff. I'll definitely be buying this album.
Azvareth
Probably the only indie band I can really stand. I got their Hot Fuss, good stuff. Definitely looking forward to their new release.
Phil
Will be getting their new album when it comes out, though I doubt it will manage to be as good as Hot Fuss was.
Black_Flat
I never realised that there was fellow triple J fans on here... Ne who on topic, i really look forward to this new album, havn't heard too much fuss about it so i am really pesimistic (i believe that is the spelling, although don't quote me) I will buy the album, im seriously hoping that its good as i did like their last album. Although i am expecting a dud, much like Blink 182 getting big, they were a great band then people started liking them, then suddenly were stuck with a bunch of pop tracks that suck. assassin_696
I loved the Hot Fuss album, and I did like that one track i've heard off this current album. I'll be getting it, but i'm worried that it will be a product of mass manufactured light rock. How2PK
Hot Fuss was very good. I've just finished listening to the album after getting it for my birthday and it's great. Distinctly The Killers, but it's not the same as Hot Fuss. Great album though. How2PK
I've listened to it as well. I played it at work, so I don't know if I am right when I say I found the album a lot less interesting than Hot Fuss, and that the single (when you were young) sounded best. But that could be because of it's hit potential and the other songs just need some better listening. :) Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! MyPurpleCrayon
Is it actually a lot different sounding like everyone said it was going to be? Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
007007008plp
Is it actually a lot different sounding like everyone said it was going to be? Its not majorly different. It just sounds more *american* (ish). Not a huge difference...i do preffer hot fuss but sams town is very very good, reccomend it soooo much. My List is good too :) maybe give those two a listen again.

Stallion4589
i wasnt the greatest fan of the first album, but as soon as it was released i ran to the itunes music store and ive been loving it ever since. my favourites are "when you were young" and "this river is wild." on this album they have progressed from the alternative/indie sound to a more grand rock sound, whilst still retaining the indie roots.
