Well I have some good news and I have some bad news.

 

 

 

Bad news = probably won't be on RS at all today.

 

Good news = I'm seeing the 9:00 pm showing of Pirates of the Caribbean 3! My dad said it got horrible reviews, and I didn't even like the second one myself, but it's one of those movies that you have to see even if you know it will be bad.

 

 

 

So I won't be on RS because I have to get my homework done now so I can leave the house around 8. But don't worry, you can expect some mad skilling from me this weekend! Woohoo~!

Uh Trippy I was wondering what you made to get 99 Cons. You see, you have inspired(sp?) me with your 99 Cons and all your Rc'ing, so, I've decided to go for 99 Prayer and Cons. I'll need somewhere aorund 125-130M -.-. I shall be making all the money necessary for them by making nats the whole way without selling any of my items. So if you have any tips on Rc'ing using the Abyss and lvling Cons, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

For cons, the way you want to go is buying oak planks. This is what tripsis did (as opposed to buying the logs and trning them into plank via butler). Then you shoul make either oak larders or oak doors, which one i better? I dunno, but I believe Tripsis did both.

 

 

 

As for rcing, well there's so much to say. Use house tele tabs as a 1 click tele (if you die inyour house you respawn outside safely), you can recharge noted glories, and pkers tend to give up after a few failed attempts.

I would recommend oak larders to level 74 then oak doors from 74 to 99. Buy oak planks, I wouldn't recommend planking them yourself. Then hold noted planks in your inventory and have your butler unnote them.

 

 

 

As for runecrafting.. always carry a one-click teleport (my personal preference is an ectophial since it's easily used and recharged). Sometimes I even like to carry a sara brew. Some PKers are smart and are actually able to successfully teleblock and entangle you in a matter of seconds. In that scenario, a sara brew provides an excellent source of protection. It will usually keep you alive until the entangle wears off so you can run to the zammy wizard, teleport to the Abyss, then teleport back to Edgy to heal (or continue RCing if you're not low on hitpoints).

Thanks for helping him out :) Oak doors are faster than larders by about 50k xp per hour (in my experience). So I'd recommend building those if/when you can.

Yep, that's where most people make their mistake. They'll get TBed/entangled a few squares away from the Zammy Wizard. But once the teleblock wears off, instead of using the wizard to teleport, they try to run back to the bank, which is much farther away and utterly pointless since the chances of you getting entangled again are pretty darn high.

 

 

 

Yes, I have been very busy runecrafting (with the exception of last night, but I have a good excuse!)! I'll probably spend the majority of this three-day weekend runecrafting and maybe try to work in level 92 herblore! We'll see how it goes.

"Would you like me to un-note these for you?"

 

--->Yes

 

--->No

 

--->No, just take them to the bank

EXCELLENT news! Well I would consider it to be so, since I'm the one who's been madly rcing for ages now :anxious:

 

 

 

Yesterday I finally bought my 120k pure essence. That means, I no longer have to buy any more essence on my herblore escapade!

 

 

 

In a lovely addition, I only have to make about 15k more nats until I have enough gp to purchase the remaining amount of vials I need for 99!

 

 

 

Which meaaaans -drum roll- I will finally be able to continue with herblore!!!!!

 

 

 

Current stock is as follows:

 

 

 

- 471k gp

 

- 142k pure essence

 

- 9.5k nats

 

- 8.5k water-filled vials

 

- 260 vials

 

- 500 toadflax

 

- 623 bird nests

 

- 1.2k sara brews
