cool75155
When barrows came out they were worth a ton and then they went down to a resonable price and now they are worth practically nothing, does runescape need to have a new update with new armours weapons ect. If so it should have a requirmnt for doing the minigame or w/e like 100 combat and it should atleast be 75 Defence Str w/e needed to wield. Anyone else think so? 814 to 99 HunterTrimmed Hunter Cape: 99 CookingTotal Barrows Items: 53Total Barrows Earnings: 65,545,000gp
jessy87
wow, needed? no would it be a good idea? yea but the ideas people are thinkin are lvl 80 def and 90 def and i sure hope that new armors would be buyable at reasonable prices from a store. Sharane
If a new set of armour would be introduced, it'll be on the 80 mark first. Rebdragon
^Yep, I could see a level 80 armor coming out. Maybe this time they'll actually have to be obtained in a minigame that at least takes some decent skills to do -.- , or are sold at a shop for a decent price. Crystal Armor, now that would just rock... too bad the levels for ithe current weapons are already set at 70 :| . Dork
An 80/90 defence armour that cost 30m or so from stores only would be fairly good I think, would also help Jagex with their money drain :P Sig And Avatar by Tripsis - 99 Slayer Blog - My Pyramid Plunder GuideOwner of Fire Cape since 28-09-2005 - 426th to 99 Strength

chigatana
I'd like to see some more Tzhaar stuff that isn't completely hopeless (weps). I like the idea of melee armor that gives attack bonuses. I mean, rangers and mages get it, so why not warriors?
jessy87
Anything above 80 would be to powerful for now how? i see alot of people suggest updates that are taylor made for them. like 3 hit u suggest a 540 combat lvl requirement for new armors and stuff, guess what? hes 540. but still its reasonable because it was supposed to be lvl 90 in everything so i guess he fell into place nicely you want lvl 75 armors...and since when was their a division of armors by 5's? steel armor is the only lvl 5(division of 5 armor) its always by 10's and you say anything over lvl 80 is too much, why is that? because you cant wear it? or are you being sincere? because it might be too good, jagex might not even make it that great for lvl 90 ar mors. who knows? all im saying is it looks like you want something specifically for you... and i might be wrong my way of seeing it like this could be 100% incorrect. all i know theirs alot of complaining recently about how lvl 80s can wear what 126's can wear and i sort of agree with that. if your 90-99 def you should get some armor thats better then barrows armors. am i askin for a taylor made update? yea i guess but the idea behind high lvl update is to make a gap between "mid" and "high" lvl equiptment, thats why i think they should skip lvl 80 armors for now. it definately space it out a lil am i being greedy? probably... but cmon give me a break I'd like to see some more Tzhaar stuff that isn't completely hopeless (weps). I like the idea of melee armor that gives attack bonuses. I mean, rangers and mages get it, so why not warriors? i totally would like to see that, theirs a few problem it would probably be garbage armor in some sence. or else millions of people would complain... i read a thread titled "pures becomin underpowered" and it was saying the rune boots getting +2 str isnt fair. also, adding stuff like that to armor soo many people would see melee is over powered now... like with the crossbows. dude no1 uses those cross bows its like a 1 in 20 to 50 shot chance of hitting a dragon fire bolt action... and its not always high and they are expensive so its not realistic over powering like this could be

cool75155
I have 79 defence so I most likely can wield if it's 80 after a bit of work but think about it, if the armour requires 85+ defence things like KQ, Abbysal Demons ect. would be way to easy and you would barely even have to eat. 814 to 99 HunterTrimmed Hunter Cape: 99 CookingTotal Barrows Items: 53Total Barrows Earnings: 65,545,000gp

nielsdek
you know what would make it even less popular... make it untradable! yes uber expensive uber hard to get and untradeable armour would be great as it would be very rare... Dharockslayer
Im sure jagex could make these armors buyable from a shop, after done an incredible hard quest like ME III. Then make them untradeable to players. Also make them like barrow armor and crystall, depowering.. whatever the word is, cant think of the word. #-o Interrested in joining the cabbagy madness? saam007
I'd like to see some more Tzhaar stuff that isn't completely hopeless (weps). I like the idea of melee armor that gives attack bonuses. I mean, rangers and mages get it, so why not warriors? i think that what should be the higher lvl armor. Barrows armors are really powerfull and got alot of defence comparing to rune/dragon. more def would be just 2 powerfull and make the game/training way 2 easy. IMO the higher lvl armor should be around the barrows armor defence but with attak bonuses for melee and higher range/mage bonus for rangers/mages. rft
I'd quite like to see some armour with penalties attached. Cursed armour or something. for example, to offset the really nice melee or extra defense bonuses, the armour could slowly drain prayer or disable protect spells, or cause a hp drain or something. Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs
scruffman
RFT, thats a pretty good idea. i do not understand what people meen when they say that a new armour would make training to easy. it would be maybe what, 20+defense on barrows armour? even if it was, people would still want a zerker or warrior helm, and pretty much everything that gives an attack bonus. it would be nice to get a couple new sets of armour all around to make the higher levels a bit more useful, since they are the hardest to get. also, who the hell said defense was overpowered.... stupidest thing i've ever read. X2theZ
If the armor were 30m for the set, then I'd have to sell my mask and get me it:D but if it were 30m for each piece, I could care less. New armor would be great but not entirely needed for now. If they came out with a monster that litterally took 5-20 people to kill with the best gear they have out now, that dropped the armor/weap, that'd be awesome.
