October 13, 200619 yr yup winter is here :P it was snowing on tuesday, only for about 4 hours, and the temperature is like -16 right now here in Sask canada. We get down to -45 Centigrade. here without windchill : hows the weather up there. where the rich people live. currently, in the poor area its -1.

October 13, 200619 yr It hardly ever snows in Britain, atleast not where I live and when it does it is usually just about 2 inches of snow at most. Not enough to bury that annoying elderly lady in who lives next door but one.

Up north a bit from here, it snowed 11 inches :shock: I used to have a link to my school's project to provide fresh water to a Kenyan Village, but the sig police changed the link to say something, which, if followed, leads to an "ahem" adult website. October 14, 200619 yr We got flurries here October 10th, our first 'snow'. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.
October 14, 200619 yr It has a few times in the Mountains, none in the valley yet though. :( We have had an amazing snow pack the last couple of years in the mountains, and two or three years ago we had a ton of snow. I hope we have a year like that again. :pray:
October 14, 200619 yr I've only seen snow with my own eyes once-up in the Sirrea Nevada Your missing out! kind of. Snow can be really fun at times and really annoying at times. I was at a football game last week when we saw this white wall of snow coming for us. It was pretty awesome to see, but at the same time, I didnt have gloves and my coat wouldnt zip up so it sucked.

It makes me feel so energetic and happy. ^_^ Yeah, me too. =P~ Here in Holland we've got less snow every year.. except last year, we had about 30cm, (~17inch?) which was the most snow I've ever seen here, they said that there wasn't that much in 25 years. And.. no school that day! :D No snow has fallen here yet, it's usually wet snow until December.. At least, I think that.

October 14, 200619 yr Today is the first here, and its awful, I hate Winter... I also am from michigan. Snowed here... I don't hate it unless it spoils my run... Love it when it gets me a day off of school. : It snowed today here in Ann Arbor too... Snowed for me in Michigan too. Not cool. :(
