Drgn01
I'll have to agree with that. That does happen quite often. There are many Runescape players that are way over obsessed with this online Java game. I've seen people say that they would do almost anything to just get rich quick, in this pixelated game. Although, just like the rest of Runescape does, I would love to be filthy stinkin' rich in Runescape. But to sacrifice a real, good friendship simply to become a little bit richer in that virtual world? Not worth it. That's pretty low, what he did. But that absolutely proves what many people say. Never trust anyone at all with Runescape items/gold. (unless of course you live accross them, so you can go over and beat the hell out of 'em :-w ) This has happened to me a couple times, and it has tought me many things. But remember, if they won't trust you with their items, or don't understand when you politely tell them you don't/can't give them anything for free (the stuff you worked hard for), then they aren't your friends. I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you, but it show's you how some people in this world really are. . : Drgn01 : . InkofDeath
I think everyone who starts playing runescape is a very nice person, but soon the merchant greed takes over and you get what we tip.iters call beggars or scammers. They're no better or no worse then any of us, they want riches so do we, but they get it by hacking or scamming. A freind in runescape is a valuable thing, that makes the GAME more enjoyable and fun to play, when a freind rips you off or scams you and you've known them for awhile it huts big time, even if it is something worth 15k or 15mill it still hurts big. I feel how you feel now about losing 6mill in items and the priceless freind you have lost but look on the birght side that freind of yours wasn't your freind if he scammed you, so really its better you got scammed now and not later, when you could have trusted him alot more and well given him 12mill+ instead of 6mill. E_D_G_E_1039
Well that sucks for you. A bit off topic, but whichever bright star in the runescape community came up with calling items in the game "pixels", deserves to be hurt. If it was just pixels, you wouldn't be playing the game, or working hard for these items, that are nothing more then pixels to you. It's never "pixels" until someone is somehow robbed or cheated  I mean honestly, if it's just a few pixels, why are you complaining about it? Giordano
Its not just RuneScape's pixels, but irl too. If you had a choice of 500 million dollors or your friends what would mot people pick? Noctis
Nick_6464, I think this is even worse because they're choosing fake money over friends. It's like if we were playing monopoly and I stole all the monopoly money and skipped town. This is truly a terrible thing when noobs choose to make a few extra pixels over having a good friend who was willing to do things like lend 3mil and let him borrow several million worth of stuff. But it seems that many people are weird and petty and stupid in that way. The worse that's ever happened to me was a friend of mine "borrowed" my rune pick to mine and I let him since I was crafting some runes and not in immediate need of my rune pick. Later, when I ask for its return, he tries to make me buy it back. Idiot. I have like 10 rune picks from treasure trails now and he still thinks I want to buy my rune pick back from him. I also know another friend who lost her santa to another friend. BUT don't feel discouraged that there are a bunch of pixel-loving noobs scamming their friends. You DO meet good people. I have a friend who has borrowed my green mask and my blue mask and she gave them both back. She asked to borrow my red mask, but I didn't trust her THAT much. whizkid338
Sorry for your loss dude, I usually go by the general rule of Lend Nothing, even to someone you know in real life, as this story shows is even bad. Rebdragon
Sorry for your loss dude, I usually go by the general rule of Lend Nothing, even to someone you know in real life, as this story shows is even bad. I'm willing to share stuff with the SODB. Not only because I'd trust almost every member with a rare as they are all very good-hearted, but if anyone's friendly appearance is just a guise (which I doubt any are) they'd not only be losing me as a friend, but everyone in the SODB, and would be shunned upon by all members of the SODB and Tip.it too. Public Rep's worth something, it can be hard for people to pick pixels over destroying their image and any respect people have for them  . Therefore, it can be assumed that one who has spent years earning respect here at Tip.it would never give that up for a measly pile of pixel gold labeled "10M". [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. B_50_2
I'd trade my whole items in my bank for my friends. They mean sooo much for me, if someone hacked me, i'd like them to keep my friends list, but take whatever they wanted. If anyone remembers me... PM ME. having nostaligia issues D:
