punkymcpunk Posted October 21, 2006 Share Posted October 21, 2006 me and my mate play DDR in arcades all the time, im going up to his place this weekend to go play DDR with him, last weekend we spent about 4 hours playing it and we memorised the AFRONOVA REMIX on heavy, then we started doing it while we werent watching the screen, so we were doing it backwards... yes, we are addicts :D but for those people that dont have an actuall version of DDR to dance on, go to: www.flashflashrevolution.com its basically DDR but instead of stepping on arrows, you push the arrow keys on your keyboard... enjoy! It's pretty much DDR but with a keyboard and online. If you like rhythm keeping games like DDR, it's well worth a look. Sadly, I do suck at dancing. Which evidently helps with my DDR skills. It's a rip off of another Bemani game called Beatmania a.k.a IIDX (The music simulation series [DDR, Beatmania, ParaParadise, etc]). Beatmania is a game that has 7 keys and a turntable and you hit them in succession to the beat of the music and the time of the little bars that fly at the bottom of the screen. FlashflashRevolution is a rip off of DDR, which involves 4 arrows. O2jam = Lame. Beatmania = Win. FFR = Decent DDR = Win. You don't get it, I want to have a DDR type game, but with arrows as the arrows on the pad so at the top it should be like normal ^<>v with arrows going up and you press the key when it gets to the top.
