Wachtwoord
Woow a very-much post (don't know word for that, not even in dutch =P) On topic: i used to play blue, yes only blue, and I wasn't very good at it. And I started again a few weeks ago, but it became kinda boring after training hitmonlee to lvl 100 and 3 others till 85-90. It's so freaking repetive fight pokemon league millions of times =S. When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done. All skills 80+
Guest TaDaraCampbell
I played it ohh say....5 years ago? if u played it 5 years ago, then the only ones woulda been gold, silver, and all the other colorless games... I'm Old School with the Pocket Monsters.. I liked the first generation games and cards, then when they came out with the new games with color and actual "graphics" and the new cards I was done with Pokemon. :

Gattree
I hate how there's more and more pokemon. The original 150 were the coolest. I had tons of the cards but never knew how to play the game. I guess I only collected them because they were shiny and had cool pictures which we all know attract you kids.
crimsonking
Its one of those fads that never really dies. I find myself going back to it again and again even though I've beaten all the original games and gave away my collection of cards long ago. ~^v^~Ex-Leader of the Divine Flames of Redemption~^v^~

Vito_Blade
Pokemon is the [bleep]. From your sig and your post I predict that you are someone who thinks that Pokemon is to childish to have fun with. Is it a bit childish? Not necessarily, like manoman's example, it can be a complex strategy game. Its mostly about what you have fun with. Do I like Pokemon? Ehh, not really. It was my second GameBoy game, and I have $100+ in cards (no offense, they were ok, and I liked trading them. The main attraction was that it turned my neighborhood into a marketplace  ), but as most things, it got boring after awhile. [/ramble] Boy, that was a (mostly unneeded) spread out thought process. I'd have to say the story line of Pokemon is a bit childish but not too long ago I wastched Pokemon just to help me advance in my manga/anime drawing. Though I must say, this anime is nothing compared to the good stuff ;) Internet Marketing For Newbies

Pokemon looks quite simply drawn in comparison. Trinity Blood..............................Pokemon Also, I was speaking mostly graphics wise but I don't really like the Pokemon story line compared to these others either. mikeb912
I just found my old pokemon red gameboy game yesterday and tried playing it. The graphics are horrible but overall its still fun. And yes, the graphics are horrible in those old games, but I remember spending endless hours playing them and now I wish I had that time back.. timmay929
Lol, I was going through all the stations on tv this morning and guess what I decided to watch; yep, you guessed it: Pokemon! I used to play it back in the day. The days of Pokemon red, blue and yellow and the rare candy trick. And if anyone knows that Mew trick they were talking about earlier, drop me a pm cause reading about all this pokemon makes me wanna try and get Mew. EDIT: Nvm, I found the instructions, it looks pretty easy i'm probably gonna give it a go tomorrow. Has anyone else gotten Mew this way? 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
