yes, i know that in some people's mind pokemon is the dumbest thing... but in others, it is the best thing in the world! i'm one of those people who play the games but watch the cartoon rarely. so u could say i like it so-so... here's wat i have:

~pokemon mystery dungeon, red rescue team

 

 

 

~tons of pokemon cards from wen i was a yougnin ( i still am, according to my parents... )

 

 

 

~lots of knowledge on the pokemon world

 

 

 

~know almost every pokemon made...

 

 

 

~my fave pokemons are: charizard, houndoom, blastoise, tyranitar, salemance, aggron, and sandslash!

They got probably 200-300 people playing the games but they all quit by the end of the year. It was fun for a while but get's really boring..

ya ur right, i've played emerald for bout... 350 hours... acording to my game data... i've stopped playing it and just let my sis beat the crap out of the elite 4 and champ over and over again... now i play mystery dungeon, red rescue team, and in my opinion... it's way better than the others... :thumbsup:

that is really tru... i got charmander in the pokemon mystery dungeon, and i beat the game in about 15 hours... my partner was a totodile tho... that might relate to the really easy game... but the fun part starts only wen u beat a pokemon game...

Played Red about 8 years ago, usually just rare candying it. :P Got all the pokemon possible except the ones that you have to trade to get (alakazaam, golem, the other evees etc.) and now just play ruby or something on the emulator whenever I'm bored.

I used to love pokemon 1st generation....2nd was okay i guess....3rd and on suck.flat out.im too old for it now anyways

Eh... The only ones I played were the 1st gen. Red, blue and yellow. Managed to get all 151 on all of them.

 

 

 

Then they started contradicting themselves so much. "Quickly go collect all 150 pokemon!" (next year) "Quickly go collect all 250 pokemon!". It just got so repetitive. They should've made ~200 in the first place and just expanded the journey rather than the number of pokemon.

I don't get it, how are you somebody to judge another person by their age? If the first pokemon game came out 6 to 7 years ago and you last played when you were six, you're now about 12. That's not exactly "old".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways, the first pokemon games aren't too bad. In fact the Red and Silver/Gold versions are very nice RPG's that are fun to play, though they are a bit "old school" in terms of graphics, but it doesn't affect the gameplay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I don't remember just about anything about the games, but if somebody wants to know how to get a legitimate Mew (hidden #151) in the Red version, feel free to PM me. 8-) It's possible without any gameshark hacks or modifying the cartridge.

that reminds me of this time in my shcool when this emo kid brought in gold version and played it to take the mickey out of pokemon, and then got hooked on it.. She got her gameboy taken off her for playing during a test :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I love the originals - red, blue, yellow, gold, silver, crystal, and the original TV series. But it started getting rubbish after that...
