October 30, 200619 yr You have just bought some tickets because one day you could win a great prize. You put the tickets away, and dont mention them for a few weeks. Suddenly, you hear the doorbell ring. You open the door and you see a man saying: Congratulations! You have won our $50.000 cash prize! You are stunned, suddenly you remember those tickets you put away somewhere. Luckily, you find them and you proove you're the winner. My point is: What would you buy with 50.000 dollars? (or euros) Buy something you allways wanted? Keep it on your bank account for later? Id buy a digital camera right away (an expensive one :) ) and keep the rest, for later. October 30, 200619 yr Pay off college loans, then invest the rest for my masters. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
October 30, 200619 yr Pay for my university loans, pay for my masters, buy a motorbike, buy another computer (with Apple 30" monitor), save the rest for a house. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
October 30, 200619 yr Pay for my university loans, pay for my masters, buy a motorbike, buy another computer (with Apple 30" monitor), save the rest for a house. Wish I could do that. My college loans total about $35,000. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. October 30, 200619 yr No idea. I think probably buy the rainforest. (There was an ad on the tube a while ago which said buy an acre of it for ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã10! Buy 100 and get to name it... And I would let it pay for a trip to Macchu Picchu in the far future...
October 30, 200619 yr Like above..... pay uni fee's (̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã9k... so glad I was in before these huge tuition fees now) and pay a diposit for a flat. In other words set me up in life :D
October 30, 200619 yr Wish I could do that. My college loans total about $35,000. Well since I'm a Brit I assumed ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã50,000. But that's because stuff is more expensive here too. My loans are around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã10,000 and a masters fee is ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã3,500 and then there's living expenses on top of that. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
October 30, 200619 yr Save up for college and buy a new computer. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
October 30, 200619 yr College, Buy Adobe CS and Adobe Web Suite (Dreamweaver/Flash/Fireworks..formerly Macromedia)
October 30, 200619 yr I think I'd put it away and try and live frugally on what I had before. Saying that, I'm sure I'd spend a bit of it. Probably on ... Ooo, some sort of guitar. Asside from that, I think that, since I'm coping with money OK at the moment, and having lots of money can't actually improve my current standard of living (which is restricted by accomodation and spare time, not money), I might as well see if I can make that money more worthwhile in the distant future. deviantart account
October 30, 200619 yr dump it in a high intrest account and live off that. Haha, you couldn't live off the interest on that... First of all, high interest accounts might offer as much as 10% annual interest - that's $5k per year - not much to live on. Secondly, they generally mean you can't access your money until a certain time. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
October 30, 200619 yr First off, I'd buy an iPod. Then I'd spend $8.000 and travel to Sweden or Finland for a year in my Junior year of highshool. Then I'd use the rest for college. Me doing staff.
October 30, 200619 yr dump it in a high intrest account and live off that. In a cardboard box, maybe... In like 20 years you would have made 50,000 off of the interest. In that time, my job would have made me close to 1.4 million dollars...out of that I would have spent so much on house mortgage, food, family, my kid's college that I would only have maybe 2-5000 in a bank account. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
October 31, 200619 yr First off I'd look into getting a nice professional grade camera. Next up I'd invest half of what's left into stock. I'd put 7/8 of what's left of that in the bank and keep the rest around for spending on whatever I feel like. : Internet Marketing For Newbies
October 31, 200619 yr I'd use it to pay for college and medical school. ^_^That concept scares me. Kayla with a knife :ohnoes: I'd throw it in the bank, minus about 10K for my car and pc. Actually, make that about 15K on both of them.
October 31, 200619 yr Is 'K' a proper unit for thousand? I always thought it referred to gold, which isn't measure the same as money isn't it? Me doing staff.

October 31, 200619 yr With 50,000 Pounds, which is about $100,000, no? I'd set some up in a college account, soup myself up with an enormous Ipod, donate like $10,000 to charity, and probably put some in the bank. I'd leave around 1,000 for the Wii when it comes out. ~Foolgool The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132.

In gold, K is the abbreviation for karat (in the American spelling). In accounting and investment banking, K = 1000 (similar to the use in the SI system below). In Canada, K stands for Eastern Ontario. :? :| Huh? Me doing staff.
