Method: PS3 and Nintendo Wii (sp?)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A guy at my school gave me this tip, and I researched it a bit. As you know, the preorders for the PS3 have been taken. One kid at my school waited in line for 9 hours to get his ticket for a PS3. But his intent was not to keep the PS3 as he got it, he was going to sell it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you look on ebay and type in PS3 you will see PS3 prices going for DOUBLE what they are being sold for if you preorder them, and get it on the day its released. Here is how it works. Take a picture of your ticket and blank out anything on the preorder ticket that is legal info (I.E. Numbers under the bar code). Then post that picture on ebay and say you are selling the PS3. On the day the PS3 is released, pick it up, and send it to the buyer that day with overnight shipping. You make 500-1000 dollars this way!

PS3 and the 360 both had problems with how many units they had at launch. They had a large shortage, which is why they sold well on ebay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Wii, on the other hand, I don't think will share the same problem. They have a lot of units coming out on launch, much more than the PS3/360. This is why it wouldn't work.

Or you could just live in a small town and buy it with no waits whatsoever because well....you're from a small town. I like where I live, it's big but not big enough that there's ever anything sold out that's popular (e.g. PS3 etc). People who pay double the price of a PS3 are just silly. I can wait a couple of months past Christmas to get one (I don't plan on it). I'd rather get an electric guitar.

i got a 360 the day of release without stand in any lines or preordering anything, walk in grab it paied and left total of 10mins at most

I dont think that the Wii is going to have the same thing happen as the 360, every shop seems to have preorder slots open and its going to be quite easily available. The PS3 for example will be useless outside of the USA because of the blocks and stuff on them. A PS3 imported into the UK from abroad will not be able to connect to the online network and nor will it be compatable with any games or have any warrantee on it. Props to the people that manage to make a bit of cash out of it, but its a big risk.

If you are in high school or lower, u can buy chips and stuff from riteaid/etc.. and sell them in your school for more. I know one girl who did this. lol

I wouldn't go through all the trouble of getting a ps3, it would require sleeping out. :\

I already preordered a total of 3 of PS3 now, but the third one was ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâý paid by my friend so we're splitting the profits on that. My only purpose is selling them for a profit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Which so far seems like an insanely good idea, as you can see, some people are actually willing to bid more than even $1000 to get one quickly. It's sad so many people will pass an opportunity like this.

My brother was thinking about working for ebgames to do that for the xbox. YOu could only preorder one xbox 360. Empoellys could order three. It is a great idea and totaly legal, but in some ways to me atleast it is immoral.
