Infliction Magics

 

 

 

My idea is for a new spell set that centres almost entirely around conditions. Curing them, causing them, etc..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Poison spells can NOT work on someone that is already poisoned.

Notes:

 

 

 

{P} - Poison damage that starts off by inflicting 3's and slowly degrades to 0.

 

 

 

{P+} - Poison damage that starts off by inflicting 5's and slowly degrades to 0.

 

 

 

{P++} - Poison damage that starts off by inflicting 8's and slowly degrades to 0.

 

 

 

{P+++} - Poison damage that starts off by inflicting 10's and slowly degrades to 0.

 

 

 

{***} - The plague gotton from the Zogre area.

 

 

 

{@} - The confusion that happens during thieving when you get caught.. With the birds above your head and everything.

 

 

 

{X} - Wait 1 minute in between casts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Infliction Spells:

 

 

 

Level 45- Poison Needle(Makes your target poisoned. {P})

 

 

 

Level 48- Graveyard Teleport(Teleports you to the Lumbridge cemetary.)

 

 

 

Level 50- Poison Dart(Makes your target poisoned. {P+})

 

 

 

Level 54- Edgeville Dungeon Teleport(Teleports you to the Edgeville city dungeon.)

 

 

 

Level 55- Poison Cloud(Causes everyone near your target to be poisoned except you. {P})

 

 

 

Level 58- Seers Teleport(Teleports you to the Seers church cemetary.)

 

 

 

Level 60- Infection(Gives your target the plague. {***})

 

 

 

Level 64- Zogre Teleport(Teleports you outside the Zogre caves, near castle wars.)

 

 

 

Level 65- Poison Smog(Causes everyone near your target to be poisoned except you. {P+}

 

 

 

Level 69- Confusion(Causes your opponant to be confused for 5 seconds. {@})

 

 

 

Level 70- Antidote(Cures poison on other players.)

 

 

 

Level 74- Antidote Self(Cures poison on yourself.)

 

 

 

Level 78- Antidote Cloud(Cures everyone around you from poison.)

 

 

 

Level 80- Mass Epidemic(Causes everyone near your target to be infected by the plague. {***})

 

 

 

Level 85- Poison Claws(Causes your target to be poisoned.{P++})

 

 

 

Level 90- Poison Fury(Causes your target to be poisoned.{P+++})

 

 

 

Level 95- Dense Poison Mist(Causes everyone near your target to be poisoned.{P++}

 

 

 

Level 99- Leach Life(Takes 1hp away from your opponant every second for 40 seconds and gives it to you.{X})

Quit runescape on Jan 6th of 2008, at level of 115 with around 150M worth of item in bank...however stats still remains

I like the basic idea, but what will they cost to cast, and they do seem a bit overpowered........unless they require things like blood runes/soul runes. Leech life maybe overpowered because it will probably kill people unless there is a way for them to cure themselves

add 3 spells,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

level 79-regular poison any dagger/spear/arrows

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

level 89-p+ any dagger/spear/arrows

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

level 98-p++ any dagger/spear/arrows

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The reason i put the level requirements so high is to compete with the herblore requirements to make theses poisons. (e.g. A person with 40 herblore will still need a lvl of 98 to P++ things) Otherwise super poisoned items would become too easy to get and would be de-valued.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

P.S. These use the current definitions of p, p+, p++

i like all except for last one, 40 dmg? unfair? yes. One more thing, how would you gain acess to these magicks? quest? how would u get runes?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

40 damage over the course of 40 seconds, and the spell can't be used emmediatly after you cast it.. Obviously you'd have to wait a minute in between casts or something.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You lose 1 hitpoint every second for 40 seconds. That isn't really overpowered.. Perhaps it could be changed to 1 damage every 2 seconds for 80 seconds? :-k

But wouldn't it be underpowered if all it did was cause poison damage? I mean, a max hit of 10 because you can only poison isn't very good.

Well, first of all... Great set up planned. I'm very impressed with this set. One thing that bugs me is that you should add more requirement runes. I mean, its good that you have poison. But add soul runes and death runes because it'll go together ^^

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh, and my suggestion is to leave the power as it is, but make poison runes hard to create... Like chaos, which is annoying.

cmon, we need something that can make mages more feared in pking! perhaps a few spells that drain prayer, combat stats, armour saves, and also a few weapon enchants!

o yeah i guess mages with ice barrage arent feared? being frozen for 30 sec or more and getting dealt 30 dammage scares me a lil :roll:
