Player Mod requirements?

Just Curious. What are the requirements to be a P-Mod? Obviously, you can't have any marks on your account, but, do you need to be a member, or have good skills? I checked the Player Mod guide on RS homepage, and it doesn't clarify much for me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Btw, I've started to notice that I am a higher combat level then like 3 in 4 P-Mods. I saw a level 40 P-Mod earlier today, and have heard of a level 29 skiller as a mod. There's gotta be Mod on these forums, am I right?

there are, but the number one way to become one is NOT TRY. You'll just be looking foolish and out of place. Mods don't have to be a lvl and they don't have to have no blackmarks, just need to show change. No members or skill requirements. Just people who play the game with respect and are friendly.

I personally don't want to be a P-Mod. I used to want to be, but I don't think that I could handle the pressure :ohnoes:

being a p mod is over rated you would have to deal with noobs following you asking about the crown, temporarily stop what you're doing to mute or report people occasionally

You dont have to be a member to be a player mod! and dont send requests to jagex to be a mod because you will blew your only chance just keep playing the gam with not breaking the rules and report somebody if he does jagex will come to you when they think youre a good mod , my advice: just keep playing the game because isnt it afterall al about the fun???

P-Mods dont need skills or that, Jagex select them only if they are good players, have send a big number of reports, all saying the true

Before I became a Player Mod I was just playing Runescape like normal, I never broke any rules and I reported any rule breakers. I never really thought I would become one in the end, so I just forgot about it, and then when I least expected it I got a message from Jagex, saying if I wanted to be a Player Mod.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You don't need to be a member or have high skills to be Player Mod.

 

 

 

Be good in game, report rule breakers and just be patient.

Player mods are handpicked by Jagex Staff so only they would know who they look for in pmods 8-) If players knew what the requirements were, more people would try to be someone they are not or do things out of the ordinary. An example is if player mods received benefits, more people would want to be one for the wrong reasons :-k

Now, I know that P-Mods recieve no benefits (Free money etc.), but do J-Mods? I saw a post, and every single J-Mod I've seen is lvl 126... :-s

That's because J-Mods can be any level they desire. And that's for testing things in the game. But they can never trade nor fight with other players. Not since RSC.

One thing that Jagex does care about is account security. I f you have ever lost control of your account I think you can't become a mod. they don't want Player Mods getting hacked.

the most important thing is not having so much mark, second important thing is experience. you have to play like minium of 1 year to became 1

And that screenshot ^^ says that it helps your chances if you post on their forums. Therefore, it may be easier for members to become player mods.

 

 

 

At the end of the day, if you deserve it, you'll get it, but really i don't think there is much special about being a player mod. It might be nice, but they don't really get any major benefits.

Dont become a pmod thats like joining the ss guards. You have to do their dirty work and put up with noobs and report a lot of people I personally hate pmods. Runescape is like the ghetto and they are the guards. They are the people who you should fear....

Pmod isn't always as racked up as it seems to be! You might as well just say goodbye to public speaking without friends around. You all may think it's annoying to get followed; but it's not that bad - most just ask a few questions and you have to either ignore or spend a bit of time answering. It's more amusing when they insult you and you go o_o.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To get pmod you have to be a good and helpful player. If you are nice and when I say helpful I don't mean - giving free items; I mean helping newer players or anybody with any questions they may have. You have to be nice and not a pain to be around. On top of that you have to have good knowledge of the rules & how to report breaches of the rules. You should also try to avoid breaking a rule - if it's a minor one and you havent gotten in trouble and improved then it's possible still.
