J_Peer
**FOR MELEE** I am in a PC (Pest Control) clan, and I usually train at PC, but it's been getting pretty boring, and I've found that the Axe Hut, in level 56 wildy, is incredible XP. PC is only good XP when you cash in your points, and I find it useless unless you know the PC world which is like 30 second - 1 minute games. I really like the Axe Hut. It's the best XP I've found on RuneScape from NPC's. It's great too, they auto attack you for 10 minutes, so I usually am on the forums, or doing other stuff, then every 10 minutes, I just run off the map, and run back and let them auto attack me. At Axe Hut, I just 3 item train, and I do NOT attack other players for a skull. And occasionally when I need food, I run to Mage Bank. It's also hard to PK someone inside of the Axe Hut becuase you need a Lock Pick to get in, it's non-multi, and no one usually ever comes in unless they are there to train. Where are your best training spots if you'd like to share? Do you like/dislike the Axe Hut?

shadow_Fox99
Well... I would have to agree that axe hut is a great training spot. But... here comes that annoying mage that has nothing better to do and kills you. Even though he sees you only have 3 items and no skull. Plus of couse, there is always the slim chance you might click on the mage by mistake and get owned and lose all your gear. I still would find it the most annoying trying in the wild and having the chace someone will pk you. First place Winner of Nick 6464 F2P custom contest. spikerkid
I'd do anything besides pest control omg it's soo boring. I'd rather take slower xp than do pc. I don't usally train at axe hut, well I never power train. I just get it up whenever, but if i'm like 25k away i'd go to hut. Quit RuneScape :)
Dork
crabs, experiments. Why do people still think those places are still good? -.- Experiments are far too spread out to be fast experience per hour, and you have to wait a second or 2 for the rock crab to pop up (which adds up when you kill them fast). The only reason these places are/were (not anymore because noobs have overcrowded them anyway) good for low defence pures is because they have extremely low attack/strength. However, bandits are still extremely good experience, I get (or used to, when I was maxing out) around 55k xp an hour there, and it's almost completely afk. For afking, earths warriors are also quite decent experience, they have about a 4-5 step attack distance, and low defence. Ogres next to the blood rune chest are also very good experience if you can find it empty, and you have high enough defence (or guthans) to last a decent amount of time there, they're not afk trainers though. evilboy1034
I like Elves, no pkers, no food, just prayer and an altar. It isn't extremely fast, but it is still pretty good.
xSxqPowerx
I find training on skeletons (lvl 45 in yanille dungeon, or lvl 80 in damis' lair) very good exp. Salve ammy + super attack/strength = lots of good hits :)

sessie
Training melee combat without training slayer is a waste of time, just get a task and put your black mask on.
Idarodo
Ankous, if you're groing to be there long you can get lots of runes and even a clue, they have small def but pretty high att tho, so if you're <80 you might need a trip to bank quicker :? 6,521th to 99 woodcutting | Fletching 98/99 | Idarodo | Combat 90 | Total 1565+ | 38m+ total exp Retired. bbalking
Daggs under the lighthouse are pretty good for training melee. "pretty" they are excellent, bring a cannon and around 2k c balls if you want some great range xp, bring some noted food and money and sell to the man upstairs at his general store, and the high level seeds that they drop are very good money :-w
RSBDavid
i personaly like minotaurs the lvl 27 once because i can get 65k+ xp per hour with d long or d2h and i need no food(cmb 78) Edit: i made a lil chart on how much xp you can get from minotaurs... wakka102
simple question. Slayer. You kill 2 birds with one stone. Its a little bit slower but the rewards are far greater if you do that.
lagatag
So you discovered afk training... Basically anywhere with npc above your level that dont kill you is good training.
Abyssalwhip
my favorite is dust devils but if you dont have bones to peaches and 65 slayer basicly pointless you can littereally live at dust devils with bones to peaches and the drops almost immediatly pays for lost nats Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
