Randomnameless
Where else would you expect jagex to get ideas from lol, thin air?. They get their ideas form magical enchanted air that forms a smoky image of the idea they are going to put in the game. This topic is recreated every few weeks, just with a different item. The last one was about monkfish. IT is nice to see jagax and their ideas insprition, but not every week. The black armour is totally the best looking amour of all time. Scudman126
None I just now have an idea on where some of the armor originated from. Its really interesting reading about some of the stuff I came across You've just only realised where runescape got only some of their ideas from. Do you not pay attention in history? And history pwns before you say anything.

Rebdragon
Okay, now that you've found some armor that looks like Runescape armor, can you find some that doesn't? [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. darkmage099
How can Versacs protect you lol? Over half the body is vulnerable thats why Jagex gave it a prayer bonus, the gladiators' who had to wear it prayed they wouldn't get stabbed  LOL!! Good one. Addy comes from the metal adamantine. Mithril is a fictional metal from J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth universe. Jerk Lol, deserved that one :x  . I didn't mean for it to come across that harshly, though I defintely didn't have good intentions behind the post. Now that I think about it there's samurai armor that's different, but at first I honestly couldn't see how surprising it was that there was medieval armor in Runescape :P . The Veracs stuff is cool, but the Rune armor is so generic (dunno if I'm using that right :o ) that it seemed almost pointless to post; basically every piece of armor in Europe for centuries looked like that. And the freminik stuff, that's so obvious it's funny :P . Holy_Monk
Heres some info i remember about Gladiators. The Romans for Entertainment Had Men. Most of them Being Outlaws or Slaves, They Were used to Fight Against Each other or VS. a Gladiator Champion. Sometimes even Lions! That person you see in the picture with the Verac armour similarity would have been a champion or well known fighter. I saw a Documentary On Gladiators on the Discovery Channel , i had my Eyes sucked into the tv the whole hour the documentary was on. it was quite interesting. ----Retired Runescape Player 1/13/07-----
