I never, ever see Drill Demons popping up now. My friend said he thought that they only showed up when people tele. Is this true at all? It would kinda explain why I never see the guy...

I dont know if this really is true.

On my first day of membership, I got camo for the first time. Before that week was over, I got it twice more, thus getting full camo in only a week! No one ever believes me when I tell this story, and frankly I'm a little suspicous about the timing... :anxious:

I mean something like how zombie only comes from burying bones, perhaps Camo only comes from teleing? Basically I just want someone to say that they have gotten a camo event in the last month that didn't happen while they were teleing.

I've never gotten this, and I've only gotten the mime twice ... on the same day the only times I've had him! FTW?

1) Just got a new slayer task and was teleporting somewhere, that's ok I suppose.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) Had just got a decent pk, picked up the persons stuff and some mage Barraged me. The person I killed had teleporting runes so I tried to use them to teleport and got the drill demon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3) Was killing Dagannoth Kings, my friends had left and I decided to kill one more. I kill rex and take the drop then click teleport to get out and get drill demon. Come back in and lag out, log back in in falador about 1M down =/

I don't know if this is a coincidence, like me getting it 3 times in one week, but I only got it when I was training construction. I'm not sure if it's because I was only training construction the first week, and I would've gotten it 3 times no matter what skill I was training, or if it's just more common when training construction. I happen to think that certain events are more common when training certain skills, as opposed to others, and that construction was one of the high ones for Drill Segent. Either way I'm happy to have full camo! It's my favorite random costume and I wear it tons more often than my mime or lederhosen. :D

Randoms are also caused by failing other randoms, not talking etc.

btw i got it be4 while killing bears

i got the whole set while teleporting to cammy to lvl magic...

only got drill demon once, and i was teleing from crandor when i got it.

All the times I got it was when I was training construction. Now don't go on some construction raising spree! (unless you want to :mrgreen: ) I'm pretty sure it was just a coincidence! Camo might be a little more common while training construction, but I'm not sure at all about that, so don't take my word for it.
