November 25, 200619 yr so do all the attacks look the same? this could be VERY VERY USEFUL for prayer noobs Yep, all identical. It was awesome using it at the Dueling arena against people using protection prayers. They couldn't figure it out :D

November 25, 200619 yr A foolish question perhaps, and I am almost certain that the answer is going to be in the negative, but does the anti-dragon shield have any effect, whatsoever, on what you hit with a salamander. By the way, I am aware that it is called an anti-dragon shield, so please don't point this out, it does stop fire after all. Also, this does raise the question of the introduction of an anti-salamander shield to nerf the effectivness of a salamander and placate all the whining pures that are upset because they can't pray when they are getting beaten.
November 25, 200619 yr I used the black salamander in castlewars and it owned!! Got my highest (or near highest) kill count of 12 kills, no deaths on only a small cw game of 20 people or so. I didn't keep close count, but I was able to hit 22 with the magic attack on the ppl wearing melee armor. Not bad methinks. Not sure about the other styles. I think I'm in love

No it doesn't. Correct, Antidragon shield has no effect on salamanders. Melee attacks give 4 xp per damage dealt, magic gives 2 xp per hit, and I believe range gives 4 xp a hit as well. And about the attacks looking the same, yes they are identical in appearance, but I think the sounds are slightly different. ~Alucard

Tars mixed with the herb the salamander likes. Green = guam Orange = marrentil Red = tarromin Black = harralander Each herb mixes with 15 swamp paste.

November 26, 200619 yr has anybody else noticed that you can attack diagonally :-k that could be useful along with snare or even sidestepping :o
November 26, 200619 yr That was the max I hit with mage in around 200 tries. I don't think anyone has noted it, but all three attack styles have different speeds. Range attacks the faster but has the lowest max hit while melee attacks the slowest but has the highest max hit. Mage is somewhere in the middle.
