But the thing is what happens to the players that just want to play the game, and not lose anything. When they try to play, and the other people want money the name calling will start flying. The best option for jagax to make the game room better is to give rewards not make it a staking match.

Me too... Anyways, I sometimes go and play there if I find someone (what I rarely do), but I think it would be more populated if you could stake.

Well, i do not know why people do not use the games room, but i use it quite often, and usually with some good friends such as pandaman, or my good friend danton. we like to play just about everything, and me and danton messed around on runeversi to figure out how it actually worked. i like to play all of the games, even though runelink is my favorite one.

Thats a bad example, not everybody likes football and alot of people in the world love chess. Hardly anybody uses the games room but 99% of rs plays the rest of the game rather then just the games room.

most people play runescape to play runescape...if you wanna play checkers or connect four...most people use a different service...runescapes isn't the best service for these 2 games.

There's no highscores for Games Room, you can't stake, you can't show your score to others.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Castle Wars, for example, you get special armours showing your status in Castle Wars.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the Dueling Arena, you can stake and make money.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If there was a special reward cape, or some special armours or something, I'm 100% sure more people would partake in the Games Room.

what's the point of playing a board game inside of a game with action? board games aren't very apealing considering the rest of runescape

not telling everyone to go skip it and play bored games. but i swear if thier was 3 people in the games room at a given time the games room would be a much better place. its good once in a while. i don't play games room every day not even everyday but its fun with some friends.

Now, I think people don't go there because most players are hyper children or teenagers that can't stand to sit still and use their heads in a grown-up game.
