woopidoo2 Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 U2 and Greenday have made a song, its called The Saints are Coming. (For those who havent seen the video yet, here it is.) Personally, I never thought of the combination 'U2 + Greenday', they are quite different bands. And after seeing the topic 'U2 vs Greenday' (that topic was posted long ago) I thought they were the complete opposite. About the song, I dont really like it. The effects of the video are quite good, but the song itself isnt the type of music I like. Their genre change to appeal to 14 year old girls has killed almost all of their original fanbase. I was expecting for some ground breaking guitar and drum solos, but oh, then I remembered that both of these bands are almost 100% powerchord based.
