Worst Game You Ever Played

Featured Replies

We have all seen the best game topics so I thought why not the worst game.

Majora's mask... wow people really didn't like wind waker but compared to majora's mask I would give wind waker a 10/10 and majora's mask a 0/10.

The game is so kiddy. It was outdated before it ever came out. Zero re-playabilty, zero playability for that matter.

Not only badly designed but the programing is the worst I have ever seen. I have programmed better games and they were horrible.

I don't think this game was tested at all. The quests are increadibly repetitive.

The game came out to be a half-[wagon] version of OoT on purpose. I wouldn't be surprised if the game team was made up of community college graduates working on their first game.

Any similar experiences?

Runescape. That or that Elmo's number game...I never could figure that game out.

This is the way the world ends. Look at this [bleep]ing shit we're in man. Not with a bang, but with a whimper. And with a whimper, I'm splitting, Jack.

Hah, my friend just lent me the Zelda Classic Collection that has Majora's Mask in it today. I wasn't planning on playing anything except for the Ocarina of Time but you just made me change my mind. I'll play MM later to see what's so bad about it.

I really liked Majora's Mask! I definitely didn't think it was better than OoT, but what you're saying is completely untrue! Care to elaborate on how it was badly programmed? What's so wrong with it? :-s

Worst game=pretty much any Baseball game for any console.

I thought MM was quite good. I couldn't beat it though cause the combined the level of difficulty from OoC's (was it 8?) dungeons into 4. Good gosh those were hard. :wall:

But comon, how many times do you get to be a Goron, or a Zora for that matter?

IMO it was a good game, as good as OoC? No, very little was/is. But still a good game.

Bleh, once I get off my lazy bum and go to Imageshack, there will be a picture here.

My favorite Zelda is MM. How can you say that it has no replay value? The masks and side quests make it about twice as long as OOT.

Edit: Forgot to put in my worst game. I would say DBZ SAGAS just for the reason that I was expecting something decent from reviews and I got complete crap. The game's really linear (it makes you buy certain things to get past them) and all the fighting was the same.

crash bandicoot - twinsanity

That game was hard as hell. Agreed!!!

pokemon gold on gameboy found out it was japanese text after i bought it

Majoras Mask was IMO almost as great as Ocarina of Time, and the time factor just added more challenge to it. Getting all 20 masks to get the ultimate 'fierce deity' mask was actually fun, the quests were not repetitive. Heck, if I remember correctly, you could start some of the mask quests only during a certain time of the night on a certain hour, and perform some task.

I also don't understand how it could be classified as "horribly programmed". It runs on the same game engine as OoT, just with new character models. It was not coded from scratch, it would seem you have little idea what you're talking about.

Literally hundreds of programmers worked on getting the game engine playable and compatible with all the things in the game. You could not code a better one by yourself, those guys have years of experience in professional companies and eventually got into Nintendo. What are your qualifications..

Any games based off movies. Nuff said.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Dr. Muto for the PS2, one of the only games i never bet, cause it was absolutely horrible to the point i couldnt play it.

Any sports games. At all, they're all pretty crap.

The game is repetitive.

Examples:

You have 3 days, you go back probably a 2 dozen times in the course of the game. You have to do many things over (like for example fighting dungeon bosses more then once) if you don't play the entire game through. I played the game over a course of a week just because of school and social life. I ended up doing many things over. Partly because I didn't play it through but mainly due to bad design.

If you screw up on a quest you have to start over from day one and in some cases you would have to start over and wait till lets say 2am (the ghost side quest to get a bottle.)

I don't really have any problem with the main story except that it is extremely easy. Many parts in the main story were repetitive (like getting the zora eggs for the water level.)

The game is badly programmed.

An example I can think off the top of my head is the goron race side mission. In alot of racing games programs incorporate a factor called "catchup" to make up for badly designed levels or cars. In most games the catchup factor is noticable but usually doesn't effect game play. In good racing games the catchup isn't noticable.

The catchup in the goron race is so bad you can either start off at the very back or the very front and still win/lose (if you are in the front the catchup is in the cpu's favor and if you are in the back the catchup is in your favor.). This factor alone makes the goron race repetitive/boring.

Most zelda fans overlook simple mistakes like this just because of the story. Since I didn't play the story through I was able to catch alot of these mistakes.

Also the game is way to easy. In most zelda games I have to make use of the bottles, in this game I don't think I ever used one till after the water level. Actually I can't remember ever using them.

You have to be kidding me if you think majora's mask was a good game, I would disagree with you if you thought it was even mediocre.

I'm a zelda fan and because of that I hold zelda games to high expectations, majora's mask is by far the worst zelda game and for that matter game that I have ever played.

ffs MM OWNS ALL OTHER ZELDA GAMES. @@@

but ya, idk what my least fave is

poopofbass5ke.png

The Hobbit for gamecube, they took an amazing book, and attempted to make it into a game by making everything into a 'puzzle'. #-o

Majora's Mask is not horrible in my opinion, Ocarina of Time is better, and most people will agree, but it is a very good game, as well as WindWaker.
