Freaky things?

I am reading a book called "something wicked this way comes" (its off a line in Macbeth.). In the story, the carnival that comes to town plays "the funeral march" at night. Now this is a tune most people know, played at funerals and what not. But this carnival plays the tune, backwards. So i wanted to know what that sounded like, and got the song, and played it backwards.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Normally, when the song is played forwards, its a sad tune, but seems to have some "light to it". When playing it backwards, it was the opposite. I could picture people brining a coffin to a grave, and as that happens, pictures of daemons and dead people were flashing in my head.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was a scary experience, although the tune is very... addictive.

The only thing that I can remember that has ever really freaked me out was watching this object float over my house in the middle of the night once. I can't really describe the shape but there was no noise, no wind, just calm. I was young so I instantly thought aliens were invading, but when I think about it now I can't really think of a good explanation of what it was. True, I believe in other life in the universe but I don't believe I saw aliens.. It was just wierd and really freaked me out.

spooky. I once saw an odd object to fly over my house too. It was perfectly ellipse shaped, white, and it kept no noise at all. It was a clear day so it wasn't a cloud either. Really odd. Almost our whole neighbourhood gathered together and watched that thing.

I've had some odd experiences out in the middle of the night with a friend before. (just messing around outside at like midnight in a large opening. He didn't really live near the city so it was very quiet).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One time (probaly by a largly strange coincidence) we were taking a break when we looked at the trees. It seemed like all the fireflys were blinking in and out in unison almost, just lighting the tree up. Looked just... well, amazing to tell the truth. Was odd too however.

I have to use the other computer to do it though cause this ones almost freezes up when i try to reverse the music (using the recorder program in windows) and the computer shuts off when i try and save the reversed music.

one of the freakiest things ive ever encountered was when me and a close friend were playing in some grain elevators near my house and we were throwing old pieces of machinery down the shafts when we heard someone yell "HEY!". We immediately stopped and hid behind the machinery when we heard someone climbing the ladder almost too quickly to be human. Both of our hearts were racing and because my friend had heart surgery as a child his heart couldnt take it and he fainted. I was thinking, "OH GREAT! now im left alone to face this monster of a man!" i tried my hardest to faint also, just to get away from this horrible experience but i just couldnt do it, by this time the guy had reached the top of the steps. I had my beck to the shaft and i didnt dare to look. But i also didnt hear footsteps, so i sat still for what felt like 15 mins. Not hearing a single sound and being able to see quite well seeing as i wasnt blinking i slowly looked through the machinery to the shaft, no one was there.... :ohnoes:

 

 

 

by this time my friend was regaining conciousness and started talk, ive never hit something that hard ever.

 

 

 

We eventually made our way down another ladder shaft and headed back to my house, we were completely terrified that we were gonna get jumped on the block long walk home... :ohnoes: :ohnoes: :ohnoes:

Anyway, Freaky? Hmm..Well, I'm always paranoid about robbers, and a few weeks ago, i was home alone, and i heard a window start to "unlatch" I grabbed a knife just in case :P..Other than that? Really nothing...

Well I have never had a....really freaky experience but I do sometimes see odd flashes of light when going about my daily things. And on the Weird USA website I looked up my hometown and found that a UFO sighting had been reported right near my house. But for pretty much no reason at all I sometimes feel I'm being watched, so I don't like to be near my windows at night. :oops:

One night me + my other half were locked out of the house at about 11:30 at night, Cos it was summer it wasn't cold so we decided to sit in the garden til my parents got home. we found a blanket in our summer house in the garden and sat watching the stars and stuff. then we heard this screech and absolutely loads of bats flew out of a tree in my back garden.

It kinda sounds like it backwards but you're have to have to have the lyrics in front of you to realize it, and some of the words are so fuzzy you can't distinguise them at all.

That's some really cool stuff! I didn't expect it to sound so good. Man, it sounds better than the original. The original is Chopin's Funeral March, yes? And the weird thing, is that the backwards version reminds me of another piece of music, and no, it's not the original version it reminds me of. Does it strike a note of recognition in anyone else?
