I would like to just end the topic on that note, but it'd probably be reported, flamed and then locked. Schools over the UK this week and next will be taking part in the mock exams. I know, I have and I am. To be blunt, I expected something schockingly hard. Teachers were gearing us up, supposedly preparing us for some mind-rapingly hard exams. But... I found all of mine so far quite easy. Though, I don't know whether my confidence will be my downfall. So anyway, i'm sure there are other TIF'rs who are taking part aswell as me. How do you think you are doing? What have you done so far? I don't know if they're being kind by giving us the extra time to revise or cruel for making us revise over the festive season. Either way, I got my timetable and it's awful. Exams are crammed into the day like nobody's business with hardly any breaks. Yuck. The last week or so after mocks will be wasted just messing about with games. I'm only taking 10 exams, so mine are quite spread out. Around one a day. (Actually had a day with 3 in a row.) Today i had my first to tests which were 2 hours of Maths and 1.30 hours of Science. Think i did alright, just got loads more to do. Not looking forward to my French or Business exams but quite lookingforward to Geography and my other science exams. pompey_spud Posted December 8, 2006 Share Posted December 8, 2006 I had my chemistry, maths and English today chemistry was easy, i was well surprised. hoping for a good grade in that. But english and maths went terribly. The last 2 pages hadnt been stapled to my maths one, so i didnt have them, and only found out after the exam. And so i had to do them at lunch and had 12 minutes in which to do them. Bearing in mind the two questions (each 5 marks) took even the best kids in my school half an hour to do, im screwed and so thats instantly a possible 10% gone for me. Maths C1 monday, Biology Foundation wednesday and chemistry friday. I dont know about my physics one yet but im sure I will get one. In january I get the real exams. oh I can hardly wait. I have 7 exams in january which sucks...
