Do you ignore them? Take them to the wildy? Or any means to kill them?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I take them to stone cricle south of Varrok. They deserve it.

Usually I ignore them, sometimes give them advice on how to make money

I do the same as the original poster most of the time. Take them to the stone circle near Varrock that is. One time I had around twenty beggars following me around and begging for money. Then I led them to the stone circle. Oh, the slaughter.

Yeah, that stone circle is more deadly now that there are about 5 or 6 L20 mages there >.> Before there was only 1...

And I just ask them to stop bugging me and - if I'm feeling nice - I'll give them a tip or two on how to make their own money using skills..

If I'm feeling nice, I actually bother to give them a peice of my armor (Hey, it's steel and iron), or give them tips on how to make money. If I'm feeling not so nice, I tell them to stop begging, and then I duck into the nearest patch of high level monsters (stone circle, any dungeon). If I have nothing on me, I sometimes will run into the wilderness and see how far I can get before I get PKed (Made it to level 48 wildnerness several times. And, BTW, I'm just after those cosmic runes up there.)

It's actually quite possible to get as far as you can go in the Wilderness without meeting another player. I've done it loads of times. It is actually far more dangerous going back though the Wilderness, as you are likely to take a wrong turning and end up in the middle of a PK war. I did once get caught up in a band of 20 on 20. Ended up that they all got bored of fighting each other and decided to charge at me. Then a demon came and whacked them over the head, allowing me to escape. :D

 

 

 

Anyway, you can actually also lead beggars into the Wilderness to get them away from you, but it usually requires them to temporarily leave the computer for a few seconds then come back (not likely) or for them to just be so excited at the prospect of getting something valuable from you that they simply click 'X' on the Wilderness warning screen without even looking at it. Then they die in the fray, and serve them right. I once saw a beggar being lured into the Wilderness and then hit by a Fire Bolt. :lol:

i end up ignoring them because i don't realize them...either because i'm away, or chatting with one of my friends. a lvl 3 threatened to kill me in the wild because i accidentally ignored them

L O L!!! thats sounds so fun \ I just normally change world or tell them that ive just dropped something worth value where i am standing, they all hang round there and i sneakily run off :-w

I just use the magical thing called the ignore list. It is a truly wonderful thing. Not only can't i hear them, i don't think about them. If i spent enough time to tack them too stone circle, i have less time to train.

i dont deal with much beggars but i've had great experience with people who steal kills.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

one time while training at the white knights a level 15 was taking my knights so then i attacked one, he attacked, i run though a door close it and run, he dies to the white knight, i sold his stuff to the general store to teach him a lesson

I trade them, give 1 gp, accept, and repeat, until they get * off and leave. They didn't specify an amount of money, and if they say "more", they're simply greedy and don't deserve anything. Works.

I just let them follow me, but I ignore whatever they say. If they want to come with me to Lessers, then so be it. :twisted:

I would normally tell them some money-making tips, or give them a few stuff. Both, however; are inadvisable as if they are begging they probably won't listen to all your money-making tips anyway, and just continuously whine and plead for stuff. If you give them, they follow you around asking for more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If I am in a bad mood, I would simply ignore them, scold them, or, like many other before me, kill them by various means.

I tell them to go away. If that doesn't work, i try to run away. If that doesn't work, i give them money.

I just politely answer there questions and say that instead of wasting your time begging you should try improve on your skillazzzzz

Err yeah but I hate a noob following me eveerywhere. Stone Circle south of Varrock is your best friend.

The time you use to ask for free items wastes time to earn it 8-)

I usually tell them that I don't give out my stuff for free and give them a little bit of advise on how to get money on their own. If that does not work I use the "we all came into the game with the same stuff and it is what you do with it that matters" arguement. If that still does not work and they are still bugging me then I just ignore them until they get the hint and go away. Although I find that a well aimed "Sod off froob." makes most of them leave a lot quicker. :lol:
