RS2 Products? PC Products? Whats next...

I disagree with RS2 product, but completely agree with PC product.

I always see people only good at combat, excluding big-mouth pures. Today I even saw a level 126, and my overall is better than his. The only reason he had more experience than me is because every one of his combat stats were 99.

I also every day see level 100s to even 105s who are as dumb as new level 70 players.

Dumb... define the meaning of the word Dumb of how you wrote that last sentence.

level 100 players call me "dumb" when I'm getting piled at pits and don't put Protect from Melee on. Is there a reason to put prayer on but under my own "code" I never pray against other players no matter what level they are.

ok anyway, I can say that I don't like half the Rs2 Products because they go and call 117s like me, Nerds, geeks just because I've played since the beginning? How would they know I'm an nerd or geek when I hardly play Runescape these days, they probably play more than me... When I look at a player, I would know if they're an Rs2 Product or been playing since Rsc, by their attitude, I can only tell when I'm playing, not on forums.

anyway, Pest Control.... I wish jagex never made that lame program... Its too easy to level, A Player can get lvl 100 in a month just PC. Most that do PC are the pures who want the higher mage, strength, attack etc...

Almost all new players beg for free stuff, ask many annoying questions which high levels should know, follow you around, know basically nothing, and are afraid to kill 1 Black Demon or something like that. That's what I mean. And how ridiculous is it that level 90s and 100s beg me to do my skillcape emote? Yeah, pretty ridiculous...

High levels now act as if they just started. I don't care if they're being foolish or silly, but you can tell whether they're doing that or are actually dumb. High levels nowadays also know nothing, as they've pced everything. Without Pest Control, they would have gained knowledge and experience while actually playing Runescape instead of playing a minigame 10million times.

About RSC products. They always call RS2 products arrogant and such, which many of us are actually not. Granted, I've never seen an arrogant RSCer, but I've also never seen an RSCer who is any good at all in RS2.

Darkdude basically summed everything up I'm trying to say, but in a nicer way.

Hate oc products, cause people wanna be lazy and get maxed there, those u cant really tell nowadays what players maxed with work, or just pced it. Almost all think they're godly too from it. I personally maxed by abbys. Took me months, but i did it, then pc came out lol

rs2 product- an arrogant high level player who thinks he knows everything, but hasnt even playd rsc(the real runescape)

pc product- a person with a high combat level trained in pc- the easy way out- high levels noob.

Yes, thank you for that. After all of this relevant discussion, you seemed to feel that we were completely ignorant to this whole topic. Very good.

Anyway, onto the actual topic at hand. My main (i gave it away around the time rs2 came out, but it does exist.) was an rsc pure. 60 att, 40 def, 70 str with 31 prayer and 1 magic. Most people look at those stats and laugh. With rs2 out, that's a joke. Hell, with my pker i realize that those stats are jank. That doesn't mean, though, that I feel like i should ridicule everyone who started playing after RS2 entered the scene. A few positives have happened that I'm very thankful for.

Pkers have gotten much more diverse. No more of that 40 att, 1 def, 65 str and protect the r2h [cabbage]. Now we have rune pures, "pures," range/mage hybrids, etc. Pures have adapted and thus the wilderness can be a lot of fun.

Training's not the same [bleep] it was way back when. I don't care if you played then, it was a pain and you'll agree. I'd fish for hours and not gain [cabbage] for xp. then there was fatigue... wow, that was bs.

Look at both of those and tell me RS2 hasn't improved anything. And for those that say "RS2 products never suffered the slowness or w/e," get over it. You're not suffering it now either. The only player that should really, really [bleep] about it is Gearshifter. That's right, the only max-combat character during rsc.

:ohnoes:

give it a week prices down to 10m easy... month down to 5... :-k

sum1 quote me on that and see in a month lol :ohnoes:

But really, is it the easy way out or the smart way out? If someone is just trying to max combat so they can move on to noncombat skills, I don't blame them for wanting to use PC. Is it really "cool" to spent a couple additional months training on a "real monster" when PC is available? I mean in the end, what are they going to say? "I'm better than you because I actually worked for my max combat, instead of using PC"? That's great and all.. But I don't see the benefits of putting in extra, unnecessary hours towards maxing out combat, just so you can tell people that you're not a "PC product." Sure it might be the easy way out, but the way I see it, it's also the "smart way out."

Why train combat on something that will take like 10x longer, when you have another, faster option available to you?

the thing is, pc has it's disadvantages. PC, you do get the coins, and that will eventually total to a high amount, but in monster training you can also raise your slayer, and get other good drops. What i'm most mad about with pc is the money...they HAVE to make it less

Of all things, I'd think that the money would be of least concern. I haven't played more than about 5 games of PC, but from what I have played.. You really don't get that much gp, do you? Especially if you compare it with things like Runecrafting or even killing Abyssals where you can get 300k-1m+ an hour. :?

I'd think that the gp reward would be equivalent to very minor monster drops (since I'd argue that most monster drops are more valuable than the PC gp reward).

I got to level 124 at 40k xp an hour at axes and you risked a lot by going to axes, when you spend that much time in the wild you discover an etiquette of pking and wilderness rules, this was late rsc and early rs2

Now every idiot can come on with 130k xp per hour with absolutely no risk, then they come to the wild and they dont know anything about it and tele, log or pray

You dont know how we feel, becoming a level is way too easy. Im not a fan of RS2 products or PC products

The world would be a whole lot better if little green men in UFO's came down to earth to abduct rednecks.

I stopped training combat shortly after coming back and finding out that everyone and their Mom uses PC to get 120+

I have nothing against people who use PC, it's part of the game anyway. Just a bit annoying how there are a lot of jerks walking around with their high levels acting like you owe them a living or something.

Anyway respect for those who have the patience to do PC in the first place =P

for those who lvld b4 pc its annoying for them, but i dont believe they should be calling other people pc products as they are useing the best technology they have, would b like people calling u hutaxe product etc. however i dont think the younger players have any idea about the toughness it took to get high lvl and the respect facter has gone all together *dam miniclips*

i think as a buisness jagex made a good decision introducing pc at it would get a lot of f2p players on side for quick combat xp. but i think as a player, it ruined a lot of things.

lvl 100 used to be a very high and respected lvl, people who were lvl 100 werent jerks, werent tools they were nice non-arrogant ppl. introduce a game that a 5 year old kid can get 100kxp an hour in and lvl 100 aint so mighty anymore. 3 months of "no-lifing" would b 99atk n str at pc

Yeah, that was way out of left field. In my opinion, some of the best rs2 players came from rs1, which makes sense.

That great list only scratched the surface of rsc players who are 'good' too. They're definitely not like rare lost relics or anything as some people make em sound.

You only get one chance to live your life....

But, endless opportunities to screw it up.

Because now I see lvl 120's looting in the wilderness and acting like sheer noobs. If there was no pest control, they would be around level 80 with pathetic gear trying to get free stuff. But no, due to pest control they are considered high leveled hero's, which is ridiculous. All of us old players got our levels through hard work and months and months of playing time. It's simply appauling to see the amount of high level rubbish we have today.

I will continue calling people pc products if they continue to behave like noobs out at edgeville world 18. I can't stand it.

Includes goal for 80+ all stats

This truly does frustrate me... Just because I wasn't playing RS when Classic was out makes you better then me? All the people complaining about how nice classic was and stuff gets on my nerves.. I mean, if you liked classic that much, good for you. If all your going to do is complain, stop playing, you obviously dislike it that much...

And with PC, the only people that I want to see complaining about it are the people with at lease 99 in attack, strength and defense. I've seen people with their combat stats not ranked calling other people PC products. IF YOUR GOING TO COMPLAIN, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A REASON TO. Go out and do PC if your not maxed, since its such fast experience and stuff.... If you don't want to PC, because you thinks its not manly enough, or something like that, great for you, but I don't want to hear about it... '

I think this whole RS2/PC product thing is lame, its basically people telling me that their better then me because they were around longer.. News flash! No one cares that you played Classic, ITS OVER NOW.

It's not like the non-maxxed out players didn't spend time levelling. Maybe if we spent all our time levelling in rsc in rs2, we would be maxxed out. It's not only about maxxing out then versus now. It's about any time spent then versus now. And a lot of the rsc players are much older and don't even have the time to spend those three 'no-lifing' months maxing out anyways. I'm sure all nonmaxxed rsc players would level using PC, most just don't have the time now - which, again, is another reason why it's frustrating.

I can understand that (I personally only PC for mage) But it seems like if anyone has ever played a PC game it makes all their stats null and void and them a loser. It just gets on my nerves. If you have 90+ meele stats w/o PC, I can understand why you'd be frustrated. That still doesn't give you the right to name people like that, though. It just angers me that people get mad at the people that PC, if it's there, use it. It's the smarter decision to use PC imo, not be all manly and refuse to PC just because you can and others are doing it. If there's anyone that you should get mad at, it's jagex. Send queries to them getting angry, don't take it out on the people that wanted their levels quick... RS, just like the world changes, if you aren't ready for this recent change, that makes leveling easier, that so be it, just don't spend your time complaining on a forum or making people feel bad about it in game, that helps nothing, and makes everyone feel worse.

Im not mad at the players im mad at jagex for making pc in the first place, its that 99 all stats switch paul used to joke about.

judging that everyone on tip.it thinks they are 1337 and ghetto + flip the switch when you call them a noob... i guess it does matter if your rs2 product.
