magekillr Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 cool project :) about that trebuchet...they are TONS of fun. for the boy scouts there was a "Catapultary" camp style thing that i went to. my troop didn't exactly build a "trebuchet" persay...was more along the lines of a catapult. we won the longest distance award though :). it was built using really big poles and square and diagonal lashings...very sturdy...very fun. one troop built a HUGE trebuchet...but apparently they didn't do their homework too well as when it swung over the frame it was too top heavy and made the whole thing collapse haha. have fun with your further project(s) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
