I just occurred to me, that most people who do something creative make music, write, paint (and draw, photograph, maybe sculpture) or maybe dance. It seems that pretty few people do things like tailoring or designing furniture. In other words make useful things. It's that just the way i'm perceiving it?

lol! You really don't have to justify yourself. I read a lot myself and for a time a was into dance to (Jazz dance, so not exactly something guys usually do)

I enjoy making music and occasionally writing. I find it too hard to express happy feelings in words though, writing about how everything is perfect just doesn't feel right unless you can really write perfectly. I tried once and I couldn't paint the picture with words. My artistic skills are next to nothing, no-where good enough for the art I want to produce.

I'm getting into writing, and maybe some art. I think those are pretty useful. They're candy for the soul.

I'll have to agree, too. It is cheesy, and isn't very fluent. take some time to work on your writing skills, or talk to a teacher. And your first response, it seemed like you were trying to justify yourself, for no reason. its a little hypocritical, might want to work on that, too (being so... defensive)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

as for creativity, i might have some, but if it exists, its locked away, deep inside. somewhere. oh well...

What made me come up with this topic at all, was that i thought that everybody seems to be wearing clothes off the peg and buy furniture from Ikea. Still many people do creative stuff, but mostly things that can be stored on a hard drive or a sketch book. Well and dancing is nothing concrete either. Sometimes i have the feeling everybody dresses the same and all furniture, all cd players, all cars, everything looks the same. Look into different times and things looked way different, but if you wore clothes from 300 years ago, you'd look like a freak. It would be cool if everybody would dress more unique imo.

My create outlets are writing, drawing, and photography. Mine are just the usual but that works for me :

I do lots of things. Like designing cruise ships, designing new furniture and new everyday item designs, architecture, interior design, logo design, juggling like staff spinning and diabolo and plate spinning. Pixeling, Dj'ing, drawing, and learning a new language, to name a few.
