December 16, 200619 yr Ok, i'm not a mod myself nor do i have a skill that is 99, but i had an idea of mod capes. And maybe they could have a snazzy emote come with it too. You would be able to collect them from the Lumbridge guide. Give the same stats as a skill cape as well. Free Player Mods as well.Remember, it is just my idea, if you don't like it, please tell my why you don't like it, don't just bash it please. The only bad thing i can think about this is that players may want a mod cape and report everything that they can. i quickly made a little model of what they might look like in paint so the quality is not all that great. Maybe someone may like to make a better model or if i can figure out photoshop, i'll try myself.
December 16, 200619 yr they shouldn't glorify someone being a mod, if they created an item specific to mods only for no apparant reason, when they can talk and be identified is quite odd. They're players...just players with abilities, not above everyone else. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
December 16, 200619 yr unfortunately with everyone wanting a mod cape, there would be alot of falsing reporting, even more than right now for they believe lots of reporting = instant modship  <the49ronin> O_o methinks ard is acting mighty high and pretty -.- <Ard_Choille> I am pretty <Ard_Choille> fo shizzle
December 16, 200619 yr Author Yeah, I understand where you guys are coming from, I guess not such a good idea looking back on it. As they haven't really achieved anything except the trust of Jagex, a cape is really pointless.
December 16, 200619 yr unfortunately with everyone wanting a mod cape, there would be alot of falsing reporting, even more than right now for they believe lots of reporting = instant modship  This would be a problem. But I still like the idea. 99 Firemaking | 99 Mage | 99 Range | 99 Hitpoints | 99 Strength | 99 Attack
December 17, 200619 yr thats not fair at all, most people will never be a mod or have any chance at it... the crowns are enough Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
December 17, 200619 yr Ya pretty cool, I support Nice job in the photoshopping, can I see it in regular view ? (not all up close like) =D> =D> =D> There I tried, but Mine is no better than yours :D good luck jiraiya_lova
December 17, 200619 yr unfortunately with everyone wanting a mod cape, there would be alot of falsing reporting, even more than right now for they believe lots of reporting = instant modship +1 so no for the capes =; Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

December 17, 200619 yr we dont need people to report silly amounts of people to try and become mods in order to earn a cape. this is the silliest suggestion ever. if you were a mod, or had actually talked to any mods, you would know that more attention from a cape is NOT what you want. we get enough questions about the crown. we dont need ever other person out there asking questions about the cape. mods are normal players. thus, we should be treated as such. we do not deserve these capes, and they are a stupid idea. edit: It would really help in world 2, I am a supporter Very Happy how so? the crown gets you more attention in the trading worlds. especially when it appears through public chat off. would those supporting the idea give a reason why?
December 17, 200619 yr Even if there's a mod cape, I doubt any mod would wear it since it's the probably going to be the ultimate noob magnet. The crown is more than enough plus, people don't really need to know that someone is a mod...ask any pmod they'll tell you they like working undercover 8-) [brought to you by the Cult of the Sacred Crate]17th to 99 Smithing OSRS
December 17, 200619 yr Personally i don't like the idea, and i doubt if any p-mods would actually wear it. Whenever we talk we get intantly bugged with questions and sometimes just plain abused :wall: . If we then made it more obviouse that we were mods, i guess it would happen even more As well as this it would just create more jealousy amongst players who arn't mods : I guess the idea itself wasn't too bad, but i think the crowns more than enough ask any pmod they'll tell you they like working undercover 8-) Undercover rules : if they knew you were there they'd just move on and try somewhere else  My Blog2 Visage Drops.Over 1800 Castle Wars Tickets..
December 17, 200619 yr its a bad idea because you cant work to being a mod it just would be fair that jegex would give you a cape because thats against their rules Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
December 18, 200619 yr its a bad idea because you cant work to being a mod it just would be fair that jegex would give you a cape because thats against their rules english please? and yes, undercover is so much better. and im pretty sure jagex have said they would never create items for specific groups (eg player mods, special items for the top 3 players etc.)
December 18, 200619 yr The crowns by their names are enough, Jagex doesn't need to glorify mods by giving them a special cape. Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.
December 18, 200619 yr Hmm, so those people who mass report deserve capes now? Any level 3 can stand in World 1 and get Pmod these days. its a bad idea because you cant work to being a mod it just would be fair that jegex would give you a cape because thats against their rules english please? Wow, you're so cool.

December 18, 200619 yr Reasons to disagree. 1. Player Moderators are just normal players. They should not get special treatment, except in Reporting. JAGeX said so themselves. 2. If the Cape is weaker than any existing Capes, than that means Player Moderators will be limited in terms of Capes. If it is stronger than normal capes, then that contradicts point 1: they don't get special treatment. 3. If the Player Moderators don't care, why should you? A crown is enough, and I am sure they would agree. They have enough attention already. Why do you resist? December 27, 200619 yr ill support! its will make mods look hotter.. but the only bad news is... when mods dont want pl to notice them and pm them.... they dont talk cause if they talk... other ppl will add them but when they have a mod cape on... other ppl will ontice its a p-mod.
