I get an A in french because I studied for tests and exams, that's pretty much it. I can do sheetwork pretty easy. I don't understand what anything means in french, I just do what the sheet tells me. :P

Somebody who gets straigt As in an Austrian high school definitely is a nerd. Then again NOBODY get's straight As. (At least nobody i know, i went into the same class with, or i heard.. oh there is one guy i heard about, who got straight As)

This really annoys me too. Why oh why can't it be considered 'cool' to try hard? It's annoying, when me and my friends and other people do really well and are proud of themselves, someone ALWAYS has to call them a geek or whatever.

Yeah, there are plenty of people like that here. They just generally annoy the teachers, do nothing and then complain when they get U's for their work. My geography teacher doesn't even do anything, even when one kid started SMOKING in our lesson.

But does that kid honestly expect to be able to live off of borrowed money? Think about this, a national average for Britain you would need ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã4,000,000 (~$8,000,000 ?) just to last you from 20 to around 80 years old. And that's assuming you have a house, a car and basic appliances. That sum is for no frills and pretty much all for food costs and bills.

Quebec French is an unimportant language. It this was the type of french used in, oh I don't know, France, I would pay more attention. But since it's only used in Quebec, I don't really care.

Quebec French is an unimportant language. It this was the type of french used in, oh I don't know, France, I would pay more attention. But since it's only used in Quebec, I don't really care.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The differences between Canadian and Parisian France are so minor! My teachers have all been too France, and when I asked them about the differences between the languages, they said, 'What differences?' . Yes, some expressions change, but if you know Quebecois Francais, you can easily live in France.

I was playing rs ( no, this post doesn't have to do with rs), and a guy comes online. He goes to a school that I would've gone to if I hadn't made it into a private school. He says hey. I say hi. He says he doing DT. I say I'm hunting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is where my post becomes off-topic. He calls me a nerd. I'm thinking " Wow, that was random." This guy is failing english and french , so I say "At least I'm passing english."

He will figure it out that he is dumb someday....maybe....

I had this friend who tried to the same special school with me. Both got through the test, but he decided to stay at the normal school, because all his friends were there. Then he decided to take a fun 20minute IQ-test and got 40 something out of 140 points. Complained to me that it means nothing and told me to do it. I made it to full score with one or two parts I had to take some more time.

 

 

 

Then the next year he dropped out of class and his friends pretty much left him. He was sorry to ever decide that it was cool to get bad grades and he moved away.
