December 24, 200619 yr Does moshing really make for a good gig/concert? I've been to a tonne of metal gigs and sometimes I get right into the whole moshing thing, but sometimes it just gets on my nerves... I'm torn on it. It can be annoying as hell but sometimes it's good fun..but i've noticed, sometimes it's a lot more fun to just dance around like a pillock. What're your views? :)

December 25, 200619 yr Sounds like when i went to see Cradle really... Deathstars opened, not really any pits goin or anythin, everyone was just kind of "meh" Sabbat followed, couple of pits started up, people getting warmed up.. By the Time Cradle of Filth finally arrived on stage, everyone was really hyped, pits to virtually every song, even those people that avoided going in pits were loving it by then. My opinion: Pits add to the gig experience..

December 26, 200619 yr I love moshing but in a small place the smaller the better oh yeah, i saw lamb of god recently at a place called 'the arena' in Brisbane. It is relitively small, but it was packed as, and the moshes were crazy.
December 26, 200619 yr I love moshing but in a small place the smaller the better True...as long has the pit stays in a small area, such as in the middle of a crowd that'll push anyone who comes near the edge back in, it's good. If there's too much room to move, they tend to suck.

December 28, 200619 yr There was that time Matt Bellamy jumped on his drummer. But I think moshing is cool, as long as you don't deliberately hurt anyone. I've only been to one concert but i think it's quite exciting. :)
