Futurama
Does moshing really make for a good gig/concert? I've been to a tonne of metal gigs and sometimes I get right into the whole moshing thing, but sometimes it just gets on my nerves... I'm torn on it. It can be annoying as hell but sometimes it's good fun..but i've noticed, sometimes it's a lot more fun to just dance around like a pillock. What're your views? :)
i123i
I'd rather shoulder lean buuuuut, I think it is a lil silly to be jumping around and stuff, never been to one but I guess it could be fun :P
Mercifull
Yeah it is stupid and no is skanking... but stupid things are fun :P Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Poopingman
I think its silly. Doesn't add much to the concert experience..either. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....
MyPurpleCrayon
I'd rather skank, less injuries. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

Im going to see Parkway Drive next year, and if anyones eer heard them they know thier gigs would be an absolute mosh-fest. Circle pits and all the like.   fun. falco513
Sounds like when i went to see Cradle really... Deathstars opened, not really any pits goin or anythin, everyone was just kind of "meh" Sabbat followed, couple of pits started up, people getting warmed up.. By the Time Cradle of Filth finally arrived on stage, everyone was really hyped, pits to virtually every song, even those people that avoided going in pits were loving it by then. My opinion: Pits add to the gig experience..
softwarewiz
moshing rules!!!! gigs arent the same without it :D ive quit because of the dumb side of the RS community, not because i play too much (like 1 hour a day) dont get lured!

Mercifull
Moshing in a Slayer pit = needing neck physio for 2 weeks :( Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. warri0r45
I love moshing but in a small place the smaller the better oh yeah, i saw lamb of god recently at a place called 'the arena' in Brisbane. It is relitively small, but it was packed as, and the moshes were crazy.
falco513
I love moshing but in a small place the smaller the better True...as long has the pit stays in a small area, such as in the middle of a crowd that'll push anyone who comes near the edge back in, it's good. If there's too much room to move, they tend to suck.

zach312
Moshing: is it stupid? Yes. "Oh look, why don't I flail my arms around like a [developmentally delayed] piece of cabbage in a big crowd while subsequently knocking others out, and eventually it might lead to me dying!" Every time I see a mosh pit, I remember why I think hand guns should be legal. Mugutu

issy2
There was that time Matt Bellamy jumped on his drummer. But I think moshing is cool, as long as you don't deliberately hurt anyone. I've only been to one concert but i think it's quite exciting. :)

How2PK
I guess I'd rather listen to the bands/artists that I want to see live. But I guess everybody should do what they think is best.
