Jagex decided that Black wasn't festive and changed it to Pink (which later became the Purple Partyhats of today). Apparently Andrew has a Black Partyhat on his account. This is only what I have heard from others on these Forums, so it may not be true. 2-Black hat never existed, its a fact that it doesnt exist that has been proven 3-paul has the other one 4-That is very far off. Bluerose13x and others who were at the top of the highscores at the time asked Jagex if they could have unique black partyhats but they didn't give them any black partyhats and that was the end of it. There's been many posts on the forums about this and you could probably find at least one by searching. 5-Yes there was a black phat......

They have access to all Party Hats they want. So why make a Black partyhat? Then they can make shotgun and bazookas and stuff. But they don't have those. So why would they have a black partyhat? December 25, 200619 yr I around when crackers dropped, and let me tell you - THERE WERE NEVER ANY BLACK PARTY HATS. Some people say that the Gowers originally released black hats and then changed their minds - that's utterly ridiculous. Just a rumor for fanboys and conspiracy theorists. Purple essentially replaced pink party hats - virtually the same color, just a different name because pink sounded too girlish (that's the only viable explanation I could come up with). The name change just happened to go in effect after the party hat dupe. As if changing the name to 'purple' would have warded off scammers?
