Thanks to you and your brilliant ideas, I'm now mining 1,600 ores, smelting them, and then crafting into amulets. I'm racing my friedn, me 60+ in all skills, him 99 range. He'll probably win >.>

Nothing too major, but there's a gold ore spawn (like, on the ground) and the Karamja C. It's a nice bonus, it usually spawns once or twice during a run.

im f2p so skipped through the gold part, but was inspired by the section on lvling mining/smithing and everything, may go mining real soon now, though i do hate it

meh stopped reading when i found i found out it was p2p.. =(

Superb guide. I admit, I had considered mining gold to raise my smithing (now that I've finally reached what is apparently the dizzying heights of 68), but was confused about what to do with all gold once I'd smithed it. I was stuck in the 'But surely I need gems to craft amulets, it's pointless without...' paradigm. This has released me. Big kudos. Big, I say.

Awesome guide. The most useful guide i've seen for pretty much anything. I mined gold to lvl my smithing but did this is f2p so no Gold Gauntlets. I turn my gold into rings(with gems which you get from mining anyway) which sell for a small but healthy amount. I also found mining gem rocks at Shilo village was good exp for mining and crafting (Cutting the gems) and it somehow feels different than mining iron/coal/mith etc.. thus breaking up the tedium a bit.

This is really an awesome guide. Made me logout a 100 times while fishing lobbies. Unfortunately, I'm F2P, so i cant use the goldsmithing method. But still, the guide is very good.

This is freakin ownage! I am 98 smithing almost 99. I'd have to say I wish my mining wasn't 68.
