Me, I like both Kirk and Picard and could never decide between the two of them. But if we are talking about the series' then I would definitly go with Original. Although some of Original's episodes are really kinda 'out there', others are *very* good. And Spock is awesome. Lack of Vulcans is what really kills Next Generation. Not to mention McCoy and Scotty.

January 10, 200719 yr If I was forced to choose between the captains... it's gotta be Kirk. Kirk had a big brass pair, while Picard was more content with talking it out. In terms of entertainment, TNG was better. Better stories and better CGI for the time.

They have ran Next Generation on [bleep]e TV for a long time now, and only recently have they begun running Original on both TVland and WB.

January 14, 200719 yr id rather serve under picard, the red shirts are always the first to die under kirk. but as for the series I love them both and would have a hard time to chose. I suppose a good question would be given the choice of haveing either the original or next generation series and movies all for free I would go with the nexed generation becouse there is alot more of them. the original only had 3 sesons. as to some ones question about where to find the original epesodes on tv try sci fi, G64, and NBC sunday 11PM Eastren.
