January 11, 200719 yr I know what youre going to say; "every combination all (4*4*4) 64 combinations have been tried out already". But.... There is for example atleast 1 Fairy Ring in the Haunted Woods, close to Port Phasmatys, that is just 1-way, only leading you back to Zanaris. During the quest, to get to the Fairy Queen's secret chambers, you had to "dial" a combination of 4 addresses (AIR, DLR, DJQ - a nonexisant ring, and AJS if memory serves). AJS is normally the penguin island, so this lead me to wonder... What other combination of addresses could be out there that could very well lead to one of the nasty little secrets that Jagex has in store for us? There are ofcourse an immense ammount of combinations to try; 64 * 63 * 62 * 61 IF you are asuming that none of the 4 addresses used are the same. This puts us at over a million and a half possible codes. So for the curious people out there: get to work! January 11, 200719 yr PENGUINS! Ummm... What if we broke the combinations up between tip.it and try every single one of them?
January 11, 200719 yr so do we start making a list now? (side note: I really need to update my signature) Previously known as Monkeybeast0.
January 11, 200719 yr I hightly doubt there are secret ones besides the ones in the quest... ...................................... wait I skill. If you skill you should join.
January 11, 200719 yr if it was to happen, the result would be released at the time of the quest-release .... well..most likely
January 11, 200719 yr doest jagex keep a full list of them in the kb -.- lost rights to my dark red text >:( 12/20/06 - QUEST CAPE OF ACHIEVEMENTBarrows sets: guthan, verac, dharok, maybe ahrim eventually <- lost to a hacker whole stole everything of worth from my bank
January 11, 200719 yr Hmm, brilliant deduction. There's only an X amount of combinations though, there's 4 different dials on each one, so pretty much, you start doing each you can do, write down each one so you don't repeat yourself. Take a few days, much? Wolfy is Officially Retired.I miss you all (Well, mostly my friends n stuff)If you want to talk to me, send me a message, I check the boards daily. :D
January 11, 200719 yr First of all, who said the length of a combination has to be 4, like in the quest? You could try AJR - BLR - CKR - .... - DKS and see where you go :D Probably that the quest required a combination and not a simple destination as it would have been too easy otherwise. And theoretically one should have read and decipher the encoded message specifying the combination. Not just read a guide ;) So the combination was indicated in the quest, while the 64 possibilities could be easily tried by each of us. I strongly believe that's all there is to it, at least for the moment. 103 combat | 1M+ xp in each skill (lvl73) | 1800+ skill total | quest capeLevel 86 herblore, 85 farming
