I still don't know where the logic is behind "oh if your on a runescape forums you must like the game" comes from. Especialy when all I visist are non-runescape related sections (minus debate board).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I used to play the game sometime ago and I've moved on to *ahem* good games. I stay on these forums because I enjoy the community. Whats hard to understand?

Ragen, what's wrong with Steam? It used to be bad but I think it's great now, they're actually listening to what players want.

Agreed. Steam has improved so much now, its great TBH. Plus it helps indy developers a ton.

I agree with you to a point, but you have to admit that some of them were Godawful! Don't ask me to name names because 1. Alcohol 2. Age 3. I've subconsciously blocked them from my memory and only some terrible psychological event will release those memories and probably cause some kind of breakdown. Oh, wait a minute, 'Ant Attack'.........sits in corner and dribbles.

I for one found SS2 to only be moderately creepy. There was just too much taking away from the experience...such as if you die you can just reload a bit back. It was atmospheric but I never really was affected by it...And the graphics, (even though I hate to base games on graphics) for their time were horrendous, and look really bad today. Overall it's a game worth playing, but I just think it isn't as scary as people would have you believe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And as for getting it to work on XP. Go to TTLG forums and they will tell you what to do their. Once you figure out why it isn't working (which only takes one boot up attempt) it only takes a few hours to get running nicely.

Yes, I have. If I had a digital camera I'd take a picture of the cover for Liberty City.

Liberty city stories was bad for one reason-it was on the PSP and it lacked a lot of the elements the other GTA had. Go play GTA3,VC or SA on PS2 and you will fall in love

The fact that after buying a game I have to download it and I can't access the game when my internet goes down. I agree that it has got better but IMO there is no need for it in the first place.

Thats more of a fact than a opinion, the game was so bad they made a land fill mostly just for the millions of unsold and returned copies of the game and it was one of the main causes of Atari's bankruptcy.
