So I've been asked many times how you should train to 99 magic. Well I now am revealing what you should do.

Well first you would want to do Witch's Potion to get some magic experience. After this and you're still not 3 mage now, wind strike to 3.

After that you can gain HP levels by water striking or put on melee armor and cast confuse on chickens in the Champions' Guild. I suggest HP training along with this by casting the better strike spells upon Chickens (with magic gear of course) until you get 19. Confuse would work, too; however, it will possibly take longer and you get no HP experience.

Repeatedly cast curse/wind bolt on Chickens or goblins until you can get Varrock Teleport.

Okay, now for something a little expensive. As this guide is aimed more toward P2P, I'm suggesting P2P methods. For law runes, go run on world 66 in Entrana. Bank all weapons/armor and only wear robes such as Zamorak or just priest gowns. Also bring 27 essence, that's all you need. Period. Trade with crafters 27 essence (They say "open!," you say "law me!"). In return you get 27 noted essence back and 27 law runes. Do this until you feel you have enough for 31 magic. Also get extra for teleporting methods later on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now that you have your law runes, get an air staff and some fire runes. Cast Varrock Teleport over and over again until you're level 31.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

31-40

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now that you received your "Congratulations! Your magic level is now 31!" message, start teleporting to Lumbridge. You'll need earth runes in place of fire runes now. Do this until 40 magic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

40-45

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Okay, first off make sure you've purchased a player-owned house from an estate agent in Varrock, Falador, Ardougne, or Seers' Village. Now, get 1 law rune, 1 air rune/staff, and 1 earth rune for every teleport. Do this repeatedly until 45 magic. Congratulations! You can now teleport to Camelot!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

45-55

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You are now almost set to go from 55-99 magic, but first you need to get to 55 first for High Level Alchemy. If you've run out of law runes, go back to world 66 and run some more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now teleport to Camelot over and over again to 55. This shouldn't take too long. It's 55 magic experience per cast. Smooth sailin' I say.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

55-BEYOND

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Okay first off. You need lots of cash! Get about 15-20M and you should be set for enough alchemies to 99 magic. Oh and another thing, get 70 fletching if you haven't gotten that by now. It's absolutely necessary if you have it to be able to string your yew longbow(u)s!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After getting cash, buy yew longbows(u) 250-300 each, nature runes 300-315 each, and bowstring 180-200 each.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now go here to learn how to string 3,000 yew longbows an hour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now place the noted yew longbows (strung of course) underneath the alching icon like so:

Now continuously alch. Try to do 150-170 alchemies every 10 minutes.

Nah, not all. You just need it to be able to buy 10k supplies at a time and you'll lose a huge chunk of it. I've lost about 8M going from 70-99.

Yes but I personally view it's easier to just alch to 99 instead of stun. Why use a slower method when you can do a faster one and just recover from the money loss in a few weeks?

ya, not everday 1 comes by 15-20 mil, hi alch is one of best methods but ull need a good item to alch *like ur bows* and i guess its kinda fast..

stuns get really really expensive after a while, but lv 6 enchant at mage training isnt bad either

I'd reccomend PC if you're 105+ And have a good clan. From 94 Magic, and Beyond.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And, Wow, 300 People have gotten 99 Magic since I did. :-k

Good guide! :)

 

 

 

One thing though, in the alching picture, you should always try to avoid having any expensive things in your inventory. Sometimes you just sort of have a Brain Freeze and you could: (Be in the High Alchemy--> inventory, and accidentally click your whip, thereby high alching it.)

 

 

 

Also going a little bit more in depth might be useful to get past those difficult levels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you would consider referencing My Guide as a source to help get your fletching to 70, I would be more than happy to direct people to your guide who want to learn about mage! :P (I have a section about it, because it is very useful as you have mentioned in conjuncion with fletching.)

it's a good guide, but i've seen one just like it. mage guides are so vague, usually it says 55+ to high alch to 99, isn't it boring? :?

its pretty basic guide i was about 768th to 99 mage, i did the following....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

wizard mind bomb confuse to level 11 then weaken to 19 then curse to 45 then crumble undead to 45 and tele to 55.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

at witch point i obviously alched. at this time there was no mage training arena or pc or stun. i did this to about 97 affording it by pkin and alching every other day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

at 97 i tried barrows for the first time and got a spear as my 2nd item witch i then spent todo 97-98 chaos runes on steel drags in the hope of clues and dragon drops to afford stuns for 98-99 as i wanted that to be 1 of my quickest levels.
