The_Dragon_Reborn
Thanks. p.s. I forgot about Atreyu. I like Atreyu. Good band. Another good band is Rise Against. Don't know if they've been mentioned yet, but their stuff is pretty good. ~~Let The Dragon ride again, on the winds of time~~I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet. RedRuby
Texas Is On Fire! The Blood Brothers are somewhat experimental, but are sometimes labeled hardcore. Have screams, and easy to understand lyrics. Just have to put up with Johnny's voice. :P YES!!!!!! <3 The Brothers. Definitly pick up some of their stuff; all of their albums are amazing, and I am loving their newest, 'Young Machetes'. The tracks 'Set Fire To The Face On Fire' and 'Spit Shine Your Black Clouds' are great, as is 'We Ride Skeletal Lightning'. In addition... Vanna is a really good band, IMHO, as is Darkest Hour. Huge fan of Himsa and Still Remains...
justin_m23
The problem here is the term "heavy" varies from person to person. its like trying to classify human waste. No matter what you call it, its still poo. It funny how you all get so defensive when someone classifies a band wrong. Seriously, who cares? Now I'm definitely against the "extreme labeling" that bands undergo nowadays, but your statement makes you just as shallow as everyone you're attempting to pick fun at. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....
Kwisatz
To me, Megadeth is pretty darn heavy. They manage to "get your blood pumping" pretty good, I think, as do many speed/thrash bands from that era. But since we seem to be talking about "hardcore" as an industry label, I can't recommend anything personally. Anything heavier gets almost unintelligible, both vocally and musically. And, did you know that the average Slipknot fan is 9 years old? handed me TWO tissues to clear up. I was like "i'm going to need a few more paper towels than that luv"
Gordo525
To be honest, just listen to some Killswitch Engage (they are pretty darn good), check out some Alexisonfire (their latest album is good).Bands like Set Reflect, Sky Eats Airplane ,B4MV, Exit Ten, Devil Sold His Soul, From First to Last, Ill Nino, they are all good for sessioning out whilst getting dressed in the morning, for some early adrenaline pumping so you can get in mood for the day. Some of the stuff I have read that has been recommended will seriously damage your taste in music, so dont try it.*cough*Cradle*cough* I know exactly what you mean, its just ruining the whole game for everybody, this is the worst update since noobs.
