Looking for some Hardcore music.

Featured Replies

I want some music that gets the blood rushing and the adrenaline pumping. What I'm looking for is kind of a mix of Bands like Korn, System of a Down and bands like As I lay Dying. I've listened to AILD so many times that its getting to the point where I'm like Hey thats Forever, and then I look at the case and its something else because they sound so damm familiar. :wall:

So Basicly I'm looking for a "Screamo" Band that you can actually tell what the lyrics are and that is melodic.

I'm just gonna work off the AILD thing.

Zao, the Agony Scene, Lamb of God, and I don't listen to enough bands like that to know any more.

Perhaps try here.

Note : Bands 6, 10, 10, first 12, 15, and 17 are AWESOME.

Cool.

Cradle of filth, the album midian is good (well, i say good, i mean, good for what you are wanting. not good imo...)

Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

Rammstein.

Its not that heavy, but it is very adrenelline pumping and gets you going. Its like system of a down except a little heavier.

The songs are in German though, so im not shure youll understand them.

First, the title says Hardcore...Cradle are not Hardcore.

Second, they ask for a screamo band...Cradle are not Screamo, they are Black Metal.

Third, They ask for lyrics that are understandable. The was majority of Cradle's songs are rather difficult to understand.

Screamo is like what I listen to so...

I had a bunch of good bands to recomend, but than you said you wanted understandable lyrics :( .

@ mega : Dragonforce is no where near what he wanted, it's a mixture of speed and power metal and I don't think they ever scream in it.

Avenged Sevenfold sounds like a band for you, my friend.

Let me rephrase this. I am not looking for Screamo persay. What I am looking for is music with an amazing drummer, amazing guitarists, and vocalist. I bought some of these bands mentioned and there songs were ok, but not the greatest. Let me make it a bit easier, I'm looking for something inbetween bands like The Killers, Korn, System of a Down, Brand new and bands like As I lay Dying, Static-X.

Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden

otogiunrealevil16sd.gif

If you want a band similar to as i lay dying and atreyu, i would recommend bleeding through, but only songs off their newest album (The Truth), as the vocals have become alot more defined then in their previous albums.

The latest Slipknot, it's emo

OT: Luring is sooo easy to avoid. That's what those nice signposts are for.

hmmm, if u want some more screamo type stuff, i suggest Bullet For My Valentine and 36 Crazyfists

um, one of my favorite bands is Into Eternity, they aren;t really hardcore, but they definately get the adrenaline pumping

Those 3 are my favorite bands but heres some good bands as well...

Silent Civilian

All That Remains

Bleed the Sky

Bleeding through

Destroy The Runner

Killswitch Engage

Trivium (old albums - Ascendancy, ember to inferno)

walls of jericho is screamo but there drummer is amazein

The latest Slipknot, it's emo

I'm willing to bet just about everyone that's heard Slipknot will disagree with you there..

defiantly look into some Lamb of God, if you're gonna go buy an album leave Killadelphia until you have some of their others, as its a Live album.

Parkway Drive is awesome...

rest can think of have been mentioned

First and only pixel thinger I made.

If you're going to check out Lamb of God, i'd suggest 'Ashes Of The Wake' as the album best to listen to first.

Texas Is On Fire!

The Blood Brothers are somewhat experimental, but are sometimes labeled hardcore. Have screams, and easy to understand lyrics. Just have to put up with Johnny's voice. :P

Not as keen on them as some other bands I've mentioned here, but still worthy of checking out:

Bring Me The Horizon

Bleeding Through

3 Inches of Blood (pretty much a unique style in themselves)
