I'm level 57, non-pure that's pretty cool with teh runecrafting and I berely ever get hit with my initiate and d hide.. I just run in (Laughing at the ice barrage flying at a 93) and go mine the rock things and go rc. So my level I know is safe if you have mith

At 99 combat it's hell out there. I'd say 70 is the best, as I see plenty of 110+ guys in mystic with ancient staves. Thank you Pest Control... :evil:

and I agree with your assessment. no one is safe, players that were 90s before are now 120s due to PC, and think its cute to pk a high level at the abyss.

Actually, Acient Magics would be hard to get to at say cmb level 80 (realistically, I mean I haven't done it yet [cmb 84] ) and 85 Mage? I really think that lower is safer. I'm going to go with around 80 or so. So I guess I am safe for a little while.

At combat lvl 68, I made 3,5000 nats through the abyss last week. In all that time, I only ran into 2 pkers my level. Both mage pures. The first froze me, the second teleblocked me, but each time I was able to get to the mage with no problems. I went back and owned the ancient guy, but I didnt want to play around with a lvl 67 with 85 mage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did die once in the abyssw when I failed an agility entrance 16 times. I was not happy.

Your lvl is irrelevant if you're good at teleing, i'm 117 and I wear boots of lightness, duel ring, glory, bronze pick (works just the same as rune and there's a spawn in barbarian village) and i take an ecto. I'll prob

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyone but tbers have no chance at getting you if you watch for them, and you can see tb in the air. I just lower my camera on the way up and watch for people running for me, or turning towards me to cast or range.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I ecto, lumby tele for pray, glory to edge, pk gear on, bye bye abyss pker if they haven't left, they're never equipped for a proper fight so they go down amost of the time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I met a lvl 80something with 96 rc once who does exactly the same.

I just bring pouches and an ecto, because I usually just craft chaos runes.

120+, i mean what the point being a lvl 125 rcpker when they can just go to wrld 18 and dm sum1 for more than a glory.

The only problem with 60-70 is your stats aren't that great, so the monsters will be a little more of a pain.

Pked once at level 75 wearing nothing but a pickaxe, glory and weight-reducing items. I have to eat after 5 trips normally.

RCing on a def pure sound smart. Just get 60 def or so (ranging on longrange, or maging with def xp). Then you can rc in full rune and now have to worry at all, although you will run out of energy quickly. :P

I would say 90 - 95 is quite unsafe, a very high combat level would be quite safe in my opinion.

Keep in mind that you don't need any magic defence at all. If you only train def and mage/range, your cb will be so low any players that can attack you will be total noobs. For that reason, you only need to worry about melee defence against the creatures in the abyss. Plus 70 range is annoying. \
