If they like pk, there are plenty of places where you will find more people to kill... with better rewards than a glory worth like 60k...What is the chance of getting a 121-126 rcer in an hour? and how many will you see in the same hour? Not that many..

The last time I runecrafted (bearing in mind this was quite a while ago) I hardly ever got pked. My combat is 78, and most pkers I saw were 90+.

i'm 126 and i still get people trying to pk me often

 

 

 

i can say it's not the safest

 

 

 

people in full ahrims + other mage boosters don't have problems casting tb and entangle on black d hide

 

 

 

they missed like 1/8, very accurate so i just stopped bringing d hide and if they tb and entangle then i just drop my pouches and glory and die

 

 

 

i can run from respawn and get a glory, food, d hide, tele grabs and go back to edge and get my stuff back

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i'd say lvl 70-80 is a good one, people will try to pk you but come on, how many 70's can actually tb?

remember the annoying pures, they can hit just as good as a lvl 120 but they're disguised as lvls 70-80.

mid sixties would not be a safe zone, all the pures are around 60-70ish

 

 

 

Pkers around that combat tend to attempt for near perfect wildy pking stats. I doubt they would waste hours making it just for the occasional 60k glory PK. I'd say the best levels for rcing are 60-75 or so, and 120+.

 

 

 

When I runecrafted between 60-75 I met with a lot of pures, and they DO Pk for the 60k drop. Luckly most of the lower lvl ones didn't have 82 mage. Teleblock is a RC'ers worst enemy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

my 69 with 89 mage would tap that. :XD: not that i would rc pk, :-w i do get pm's from rcing friends to come frag a rc pker though \

under 50 is relatively safe, just have to worry about lvl 80 mage pures with god spells or lvl 72+ ancients.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Aside from that its never safe, but at 120+ everyone has relatively the same stats so you can hold your own.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Id say since 112 is a barrows pure, and they tend to be the highest levels at edge who are there to pk and not talk, 117+

Any level can easily deal with equal level RC pkers the fact that most are mages tends to make it that much easier.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What to take :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Highest Dragonhide armor you can wear.

 

 

 

Best Darts/knives you can get a hold of (Steel+ Recommended).

 

 

 

At least attack potion (Most people have a huge stack of them sitting around, may aswell use some up, either drink+drop or drink+empty to save the vial, other/better potions can help).

 

 

 

Any Food that heals 15hp+ per bite, the higher the better.

 

 

 

(Optional) One click tele (Just in case).

 

 

 

(Optional)Dragon Dagger with best poison you can get a hold of (If you have 60+ attack, otherwise don't bother with it, it only helps if you plan to try for the kill).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Most RC pkers are out for easy kills against helpless RC pkers. After an attack or two they generally run/tele and leave.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are two ways of going about getting rid of them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A.) Run up and start hitting with Darts, get them to use their spec on you. If your in good shape afterwards get their hits down a little then just keep at it with the darts until they run/tele, you can also pull out the DDS to try and KO them when they are down a little bit. The dart damage tends to be low so they will usually let their hits drop a bit before they eat, which gives you the edge to outdamage their eating and usually kill them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

B.) Run up and unless DDS specs then switch to darts and just keep on them until they leave.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Since their armor tends to be low I personally recommend darts/knives as opposed to MSB/Crystal bow. The lower armor means your just about always going to hit them, so you may aswell go for DPS rather than Big hits here. The "Oh crap" factor of having 2 damage numbers up at the same time also helps.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The above will get rid of a good number of abyss pkers around your level, with reletively little risk to yourself.

really the only dangerous rc pkers are ones that tb + entangle. i had one guy the other day who tried to pk me with only a whip.

Im not so sure... I died atleast 20 times at lvl 83 or so. I must have been attacked 70+ times. (this was when i was rcing for my mask.)

I would say 124+ since anyone at this combat lvl would have 99 def.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At these level a glory really doesn't look too enticing to high level pkers.

I'm lvl 86 and I have crafted probably 5k nats with only 1 or 2 attacks. I am purposefully keeping my combat level down for now because most of the PKes I see are 95-105ish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another thing I do is I always rune craft on lightly populated worlds and late at night if I can when server populations are lower. Seems to help a lot.

Really, your not safe once you step into lvl 1 wild....anything can happen, but there is less Rc pkers at lvl 110+, so if you are a lvl 126, well, i wouldnt be brining d hide...

Ive crafted 13k nats, ive got rc pked 2 times, but most of the time i see level 90+ standing there ready to pk...but idk

Omg, ancients has never killed me before, and will never do so. Bring 1 click teles... Ectophial, lletya elf crystal, teletab.. They saved my neck all the time. Bring a sara brew(4) for tb/entanglers.

I agree. I was watching my friend RC for a bit (he is level 100) and every other guy he ran past was level 98-101-104-102. He ran a safer run and world-switched often.

Actually... 115 Plus.. I rarely see any lvl 110 or higher stoop to that low of a PK. Although, I did get lured at DKs by 2 lvl 126's. So.... But still, 115+

level 10 with maxed pray and 1 p pot :P, or anything under 50 cb as not many pkers have tb then, over 110 is good too, 80-100 is where most people pk.
