Harry won't die. I'm quite sure of that. The series does have a sacrificial theme to it, but it is not Harry making the sacrificices. I'm thinking Snape will redeem himself and possibly sacrifice himself for Harry, but that would be too much like Tale of Two Cities. And then theres still Wormtail, he will probably have a role as well. I think it is a distinct possibillity that Dumbledore will be back in some form, just to point Harry in the right direction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And even though I know there is like no chance of it happening, I really hope Ron gets killed off so he can't marry Hermione.

I don't find those books "kiddy" or dumb, like most people online seem to. From a neutral view, I'm not a huge fan of fantasy, as literature they're pretty entertaining and fun to read..

Methinks that Snape will sacrafice himself for Harry, to "pay" long past debts to James. Snape and Voldemort will die.

 

 

 

I have to agree with you about Snape and Voldy dying. I'm not sure about the Snape sacrificing himself though. Anyway, I don't think it's Harry and Voldemort because Snape can't survive. Well, he could, but I wouldn't like that much. Harry has to survive to hook back up with Ginny...

I really wish i didn't read that that would be last book of "Harry potter" series. i just read them all just finished today and you know i was hoping lots more books were going to come. :(

I'll probably but it from the supermarket at midnight, finish is by ten in the morning, then go on with my life. (I finished the last one by six in the morning the day it came out) What a waste of $20! Oh well, I think that harry, Hermoine, and Ron will live, but hagrid is definately dead. Definately!

No way, why would she kill off Hagrid? Its kinda pointless. Nothing would really be gained by his death. It wouldn't really fit in to the novels that well I think, unless he became a more important character all of the sudden or something.

Voldemort and Hagrid live. Potter has absoloutly no way to find the cruxes and forgets what they are and dies. Hagrid joins Voldy and becomes his right hand man.

In all of this "Snape is oh so good" discussions, people seem to miss out on the fact that no matter whose side he is on, he has done some pretty awful stuff. That is his tragedy... and he will have to 'pay'. I'm sure that's how he himself would feel... remember the look of disgust when he kills Dumbledore? The guy has some serious self-loathing issues.

I doubt Malfoy will die considering that, on top of the astronomy tower when he had Dumbledore at his mercy, he chose not to kill him and began to wish he could back out of it. On the contrary, I believe Harry will save Malfoy's life at one point just as James had saved Snape. I like to think that Snape, Voldemort, Wormtail, and Bellatrix Lestrange will die. Maybe a few more minor characters like some death eaters. I honestly don't think Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, etc. will die.

I'm quite confident Malfoy will die. I had a well-constructed body of evidence after reading the sixth book, but... that was a long time ago and, well, I don't remember it well. But I'm still rather sure of myself. Not certain though- ANYTHING can happen.

I think there's an analogy between Snape and Malfoy. Malfoy is on the brink of making the decision to be a death eater at the same age when Malfoy did. Snape did the wrong thing: there was no one to stop him, Malfoy will do the right: Snape looks after him. I don't believe Draco will become a death eater. He might redeem himself and live, whereas Snape redeems himself and dies.
