Harry Potter realese date.

*sigh* last time the "harry is a Horcrux" theory came up I said something along the lines of:

It makes no sense, Harry "kills" voldemore and that piece of his soul buggers off (like what happened last time he got killed) then Harry kills himself. So now voldermort is still left with 1 piece of his soul intact - harry is dead; voldermort still "lives" :uhh:

As for who dies - that I can wait for. After all; I don't think ANYONE saw it coming in HBP did they? Most likely going to end up with that kind of result in this book.

Illogical to make him a Horcrux if he wanted him dead.

The point of Horcrux's is to PRESERVE that part of the soul.

Hmm, ever wonder why nobody ever attacked Hgwarts? Or why Voldy didn't kill him in book 5? Dumbly only died because he let Snape kill him. :)

Snape is obviously going to be the driving antagonist in the next book. He has effectively killed the two most powerful wizards of the century. First, by listening in on and then informing to Voldemort the prophecy, which would caused Voldemorts death. Second, he killed Dumbledore. The potion which Dumbledore drank before Snape killed him was probably the draught of living death. Dumbledore resisted the effects for as long as possible. Somebody in the Black family left a note in the basin that contained the draught and the locket, and Snape hates the Black family.

Ginny and Malfoy will die. Voldemont kills Malfoy for not doing what he was told and Ginny is killed to bait Harry. Don't think Dumbledore can come back, didn't Rowling say he was dead?

You idiots. Snape has been working as a spy for Dumbledore since forever. Their plan culminated in Snape (reluctantly) killing Dumbledore. Book seven will involve Snape destroying Voldemort's empire and possibly dying in battle and reconciling with Harry in his last breaths as a touching moment.

Guess we'll see. I think my theory is supported by the actual events in the book, and just like most of the characters in the book you are fooled by Dumbeldores refusal to give up on people; Snape is not a good guy, in my opinion. He's too ambitious.

Yea, I'm pretty certain Rowling said he was dead and isn't coming back.

And I agree with you about Ginny being used as bait again. Although whether or not she dies, I dunno. However - I'm betting one of her family dies.

Harry won't die. I'm quite sure of that. The series does have a sacrificial theme to it, but it is not Harry making the sacrificices. I'm thinking Snape will redeem himself and possibly sacrifice himself for Harry, but that would be too much like Tale of Two Cities. And then theres still Wormtail, he will probably have a role as well. I think it is a distinct possibillity that Dumbledore will be back in some form, just to point Harry in the right direction.

And even though I know there is like no chance of it happening, I really hope Ron gets killed off so he can't marry Hermione.

Why?

I'm gonna have to say Ron (the nub) is going to die. I've read all of them and looking foward to the last. <3:

lol Maybe Voldemort is casting that avada kedavra spell at Harry and Ron's like "Noooo!" and jumps in front of Harry and it kills Ron, and Harry is pissed and says "You dirty bastard!" and then kills Voldemort.

It is possible for Harry to die because I just got through reading a book where this guy (main character, book is from his viewpoint) gets depressed and shoots himself. Plus it was book one of a 3-book series which was weird. Anyways it's possible for him to get killed because it's the last book. Plus Rowling is probably wanting to be a killjoy.

Personally, I want Harry to die in the end, cause otherwise it'd be too of a happy fairy tale ending, where the hero survives and the evil defeated. Although I really doubt JK Rowling will kill him off.

As for the two major characters that will die, I also think one of them is either going to be Snape or Wormtail (I'm surprised we didn't see more of Wormtail in book 6) sacrificing themselves for Harry's (or the 'good' side's) sake. The other character that will die is probably going to be someone close to Harry, like Hagrid, or another character that means a lot to Harry, which would at least make the ending a little less happy and fairy tale-ish.

And about the theory that Harry might also be a horcrux, I think it kinda makes sense and kinda doesn't, although I don't think it'll be like that in the books. It totally makes sense because the night Voldermort killed Harry, it is described that Voldemort gave a piece of himself to Harry (e.g that's why Harry can speak Parseltongue). Then on the other side, does this mean that Voldemort accidently made Harry a horcrux (on the night he tried to kill Harry)? If not, why would he make Harry a horcrux when he knew from the prophecy that he had to kill Harry ("Neither can survive while the other lives" or something in those words)?

Also, I just have to mention that I also believe Snape is actually on the 'good' side.

I found:

Waterstone's has announced plans to set up a special helpline for fans after Deathly Hallows comes out this summer. JKR revealed in June that two more characters would die (who she hadn't intended on dying), and the UK book chain says "this could be a similar moment to when Take That split up - there could be a lot of upset teenagers out there. We are looking to set up a helpline for them."

Funny.

I haven't read any of the books, haven't watched any of the movies, and nor do I intend to. But honestly, a help line for books? Rediculous if some chick is going to slit her wrist because someone dies in a book then she needs profesional help, with more then just the book.

A helpline? Seriously... that is hilarious!

And you know what? I think if Harry dies it will be too obvious, but if Voldemort dies, it'll be too much of a 'happy fairy-tale ending' as someone ^ said. I think they'll both die!

You know what I think? Dumbly was a horcrux.

*gasps* That's such a cool idea!!

And I s'pose that could be the reason why Snape killed him and could still possibly be on the 'good' side... :-k

Can't wait till it's going to be released. I'm not much of a reader, but you can wake me up for the HP books. I really enjoy them.

Ohhh ya can't wait, although I am a little disappointed that the Book and the Movie are coming out so close together. I mean we only get 8 days to review the movie a few times and then BAM we have the Seventh and Final Book. But anyway DANNNNNNNNNNG I can't wait!
