Whilst we all know and are grateful for the useful points of our beloved runescape forums on the offical site I am sure we have all noticed some of the strange things that go on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prices:

 

 

 

Naturally buyers will try to but for less than the sellers try to sell for but this is not what i find the bemusing issue. I find the following more interesting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some threads try to sell for more or buy for less than the normal price. This is not technically price manipulating however what i find funny is that when the seller selling or buyer buying claims this is a good price they always have something along the lines of "do not spam" on their thread. Not all threads have this as they do not expect spam. The people selling for the different price must however expect this then as otherwise they would not take this precaution.

On certain forum sections everybody seems to be selling items or everyone seems to be buying items. An example of this is the rares market at the moment.

I think this is a brilliant idea as it lets people tell jagex their true feelings about the game and what they think could be do to improve. Although Jagex probably do not read most of these threads at least these people have somewhere to get their rants out rather than taking it out on fellow players and getting banned.

This to is an amazing idea as it lets people get out of the game and talk to their fellow gamers who are playing along side them. This really helps some people and can stop them simply getting tied up in the game.

Mine has to be the ones i see on the rants forums of people who complain when they die and lose stuff when pking because of internet connection difficulty. These are funny because the person must realise how useless it is posting the thread in the first place, as all they will get is spam.
