Java is heavily based on C, so the syntax is very similar.

Sure, the grammar may seem similar, but C source is very very different looking than Java source. Also, I'm not sure what you mean about "heavily based".

Wow, someone suggested LaTeX. That's terrible man. :D

C++ is the third most popular programming language in the world and is the preferred commercial programming language, however it is not specifically a mathematical programming language, though there are some math specific languages.

I just wrote it in C++ because it's my favorite language.

Good job jard now make me a graph showing the levels in an exponential curve. I'd also like a calc that shows me how much xp it would be to get a certain level like 115 or 150 so we could see how much xp would be involved if jagex removed the level caps. I expect you to get on this right away.

What?? I have no idea what all that mumbo jumbo is saying.

It's a source code for C++, a commonly taught programming language.

BTW- nice code! I wanna try compiling that and using it from time to time!

Aaaaah! Nerds!

It'd be a lot more useful if you just explained it. I know some basic Java and I can't even really understand that code. Put the forumla into excel and plug out some graphs and charts :D

Jagex wrote RS in Java/RuneScript. Makes more sense for it to be in Java.
