looking aside from party hats,halloween mask, santa hats and all other rares, dragon was probbly the most desired thing in runescape. Once barrows came along it kind of took some attention away from dragon,but dragon was still your best bet without a repair bill. When 3rd age came along it once again took away what dragon had, the best defence armor without repair but....with the extremly over rated prices of 3rd age dragon still stood about how it was, but lets face it dragon isnt looked apon like it was before barrows or 3rd age came along... I think dragon needs a defence update to boost it up...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3rd age isnt over rated... there are just only 50-100 sets of each in game...

people still buy dragon despite the 3rd ages overwhelming price.

it is over rated because it is "new" once more people do treasure trails and get it over time it will drop for example the first day the dragon 2 handed sword came out it was like 12-15m? now it is like 1.2m? people just can't wait.. of course if you have the money for 3rd age then it don't matter, however 3rd age dont look as good as dragon does in appearence if you ask me, of course since i have dragon i kind of take its side

meh, the "addy" age was here, then with the champ guild came the "rune" age, after that dragon, and then barrows... things come and go

To me, at the moment there are so many d sets in the game, it's nothing "special" anymore. So it's not looked upon. (say for yourself, do you look up to something you see at least 3 times a day?)

Anyway, I still prefer to see someone in Full Dragon rather than 3rd Age, although 3rd Age Helm is hawt

3rd age armor costs what it does because of its rarity.

 

 

 

The dragon chain costs what it does because of its rarity. Before barrows and 3rd age, there were less dragon chains. As more kqs and dusties were killed, more came in, and more people had them, so the price went down. Dragon isn't for stats, and hasn't been since barrows came out-it's a status symbol. It shows that you have enough money to blow on some cool looking armor that isn't even the best.

There is no way third age is that hard to get. My friend got meele plate the second day it came out on his 3rd New overall clue. He's so rich now :x But no I'm laughing because when he sold it it was around 40mil cheaper :lol:

Dragon is fine the way it is man, if they updated its defense it would boost its price and then 3rd age would go down.

I really don't see what you're saying. I mean everywhere you go there are at least 5 people either with a dragon weapon or dragon armor. Dragon items have not become less-popular, mid levels still have them(I my d2h). Some dragon items are a sign of wealth.

Give it a year. The prices for 3rd Age stuff will go down substantially.
