Poopywoopy69
I think the movement system instead of clicking everywhere, should be changed to either the arrow keys, or the WASD keys, like most other MMOs. supercanon14
no why make it like other mmos we keep it as it is final :notalk: DoD:S ownagewhat we have here is a ..um.. failur to communcate check out my steam ID page @ alpha company
Poopywoopy69
yeah, but the method of moving around is so tiring, so if it is like other MMos it wont be as boring and repetitive. I mean, isnt it easier to push keys, than click all the time, and castle wars and other PVPing will be easier too, because you can move more frequently. And it isnt like i want it to be like other MMos its just way boring! Click the sig to visit my RS blog
yttrium88
The best solution would be to have both available. The point and click is more accurate but the direction would certainly be less frustrating at times. The point and click method puts my blood pressure through the roof when i try to run through a forest or other tricky spot. :?
Sbrideau
Arrow keys are already taken, and plus, we get used of clicking so i think its better to keep it like that.
Poopywoopy69
yeah a choice would be nice, cuz Guild Wars has a choice too. And since the Arrow keys are taken, then you would probably use the WASD keys, and then it would become that you would have to press "enter" before typing text, so it wouldnt be too much of a drastic change. nomar04
except pressing enter before every time you want to say something is extremely annoying. its not a bad idea, maybe have the arrows on the num pad control the viewing angles, and the arrows would move you. dkjestrup
if you were a merchant it would b annoying pressing enter all the time right? and WASD would b better then then arrows. you should have an option in private chat that makes pressing enter let u talk but... u press it 1nce then talk howevermany times u want and then press enter when u hav nothin 2 say and u can move again? i hope u understand. Slayer_Jesse
better solution: have numlock off and use 4,8,6,2 keys that have the arrows on them. i like the idea of having both options. in certain spots arrows would be usefull. Greyace
its not good to use the WASD buttons or the arrows buttons. Example: you do firemaking, if you move with the WASD or the arrow buttons so it wont be on the sqares of the game and the fires wont be in one line... this is why they made sqares... Prankster_King
I guess it would be nice if you could switch between them. I personally get annoyed when my character doubles back on himself then goes in a different direction, whenever I click a new spot. Why not make it so that the arrow keys move the guy, and the mouse moves the camera? You would still be able to switch between the two. Madder_Atkha
First off- how would this work when you both the arrow keys and WASD are both in use in the current setup of Runescape? Secondly - How would this improve gaming experience? The point and click makes it much easier to engage items/NPCs and to move. You would probably end up using the mouse as much as the directional keys in Runescape. Thirdly- how would engaging work in this setup? How would we right and left click on objects? Besides I like the point and click setup so I would never support this.
