King Gheedorah - Take Me To Your Leader.

If you're down with the sci-fi hip-hop, that one's for you.

Also, Tonedeff's got a great flow.

I'm starting to get a little more into Quasimoto and Mr. Lif as well, the latter being a new favorite of mine.

He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart,

and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.

Lol, I was asking myself the same thing...

Although the only thing Hip-Hop about them is the lyrics (and they are about polotics, which is odd for hip-hop I suppose) I'd definately have to say Rage Against the Machine.

Hip-hop actually gets political, a lot. Groups like Public Enemy, N.W.A (though they were a bit extreme  ), Run-DMC, Black Star etc. had political messages, as well as KRS-1, Eminem, Ice-T, etc.

Too bad it's not so prevailant nowadays. :?

And nowadays when it does get political, it's so shallow that it's really kind of pathetic. Like Kanye's "Bush hates black people" or P-Diddy's "Vote or Die".
